THE place to go if you want delicious/homemade roasted chicken.

Got the chicken au jus sandwich and they put so much Dijon that’s all I could taste. It was pretty gross.

I live close to Granville Island Public Market and this place has been one of the frequent destinations to get special food. However, I will not go there again.I purchased today some take out food and paid debit. The machine showed that the transaction was approved and I was just packing everything in my bag when the person working at the counter aksed me to wait. She was checking the receipts and looking at her cash register. Then she called another person who also looked at the receipts and the cash register informing me that they were not sure if it was paid because it was not showing in their system. I argued that the machine and the printed receipt showed approved" which meant that everyhting was paid. It went like that back and forth and finally I was told that I was "not going to be charged again" but that they needed my name and phone number in case "something was wrong". The whole "situation" took at least 10 more minutes of my time and made me feel very uncomfortable to go through that inquiry in the middle of the full public market and to write my name and phone number publicly at the store. The shaved lamb sandwich is delicious! Must try if you’re in the public market. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from the menu.

They have an excellent and diverse selection of frozen, ready to eat meals - super tasty and easy, the kids love them. They also have a fabulous ready-to-eat menu, with lots of favourites like roast chicken, sandwiches and more.

Every item I have ever purchased from L'Epicerie has been as good or better than described. The variety is broad, the quality excellent and the taste superb. Their roast chicken is the best I have ever tasted and reliably so. I have never been disappointed by anything purchased at L'Epicerie.

Extremely yummy food, cooked from the heart.

Love the delicious meals made here. So often on the go and tired of eating bread-based meals. These folks always have an array of delicious, healthy food options—ready to go, whether I’m hungry or want something light.

Absolutely love this place, and every time I go they seem to have more wonderful foods and options available (both for picnic at Granville Island or for cooking/eating at home). The rotisserie chicken is delicious, and they have a wonderful selection of French gourmet frozen meals. Also some of our favourite French cookies and treats that remind us of times past in France. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend to both locals and visitors.

If you have ever picked up one of those cooked chickens at a supermarket, you may never again after having the roasted chicken at L'Epicerie Rotisserie. It is soooo good!! I also love that I can pick up all the French grocery items and create gift bags for my European friends.
