Convocation Hall
This place is absolutely gorgeous and filled with history! However it is not very accessible. To get into the auditorium to watch a performance, I have to take my walker around the side of the building, through the parking lot, and call one of the musicians to open the door for me. I then take the same sketchy elevator that the musicians use to move very heavy equipment, and have to get someone to open the very heavy door to the auditorium for me. Slightly inconvenient.

Such a beautiful hall with some of the best performances by the students. There is also a huge and beautiful pipe organ the runs along the walls of the main auditorium. The building itself has a lot of beautiful structures and art.

Wonderful venue with superb acoustics! From the first moment I step into the room the warmth of the sound was evident. Absolutely took my breath away. Absolute gem! I will accept any invitation to sing any style of music in this room.

Lovely building, the seating is alright. The windows seem to have no curtains, which can be distracting at times. But again, the hall itself is beautiful and worth a visit.

Parking is an absolute gong show. Nothing nearby and a maze BUT hall is lovely.

Beautiful architecture and a beautiful venue for a small intimate concert or play to be held at.I really wish I had the opportunity to hear the organs I see at both front & back of the hall balconies.

Extremely important music venue for U of A. The upcoming renovations are well needed and well deserved. Don't wait though, come out and enjoy events here every chance you can get. Many are often free or pay what you can and the students are hard working and dedicated. Always a great night out.

Gorgeous hall. I felt very proud for being able to perform there. If you keep an eye on the events, there are free concerts every once in a while.
