Very nice trail to walk with some scenery spots! Quote a few bikers when I went today but the trail has very little muddy spots, making it more enjoyable to walk.

One of the greatest things about British Columbia is it’s beautiful parks which are mostly maintained and protected for communities to use or explore. All its parks span the range of terrains, flaura, fauna , climates and wildlife (some parks) which astonishes you when you go for the first time but become an obsession at certain time.During this quarantine time, i took a plunge to explore outdoors and especially parks and hiking trails small or big, close or far from surrey( my hometown)This port- Coquitlam park is just 15 mins from my house as i live on the outskirts of surrey and close to Coquitlam. Its basically a trail of 12 km which expands to huge area covering roads, lake, natural plantation on the sides. Some area is gravel and some is a plain road. Ocean looks so calm like a lake from thos angle of the park. You can bike around it or maybe just walk or run but do stop to take some spectacular views at certain times like the sunset. There are benches with perfect spot for a little rest. Though there is no trail leading smoothly but rough and wild ones to go to the beach( not exactly beach but edges of water ). If you plan to do it all then take ur water and go for it, else take a small walk on road trail and still feel fresh.Parking is some 100 meters before the actual trail starts. It was gorgeous for me.

It was the most amazing bike trail I have been on ! All 7 of us were floored by the beauty and loved how easy it was to ride, how different scenes we were able to ride through. We are dying to ride this trail again soon!A friend who customarily rides this trial also says to try riding it reversed, it’s like riding a totally different trail. Haha

Many great walks through outstanding beautiful surroundings. The portions of the trail along the river are particularly enjoyable with lots of wildlife to see.

Great area to bike ride in Port Coquitlam allowing you to see most areas of Port Coquitlam. Doesn’t really matter where you start or which direction you travel to enjoy. As of the last couple weeks there was a closed section along the west side of Colony Farms until the Red Bridge (Pitt River Road). Not much in the way of signage warning you of blocked off section. Most of the ride is along the trail but are some road sections along the northern parts of the trail. Some bathrooms near Gates Park and along the Fraser River. Yes this is dog friendly but a long trek if you do the entire loop. Enjoy!

Traboulay PoCo Trail
Wonderful well paved trails that connects several parks and neighbourhoods in the area together for easy access. You can see people from all walks of life using this trail. There are also a lot of interesting views to take in such as the river, the forest, the metal swimming salmon art, and lots of Continuum educational signs. You get to pass over rivers, under bridges, and through the woods. There are several exercise equipment that could be used on this trail as well. Highly recommend for anyone thinking of doing some light exercising or grabbing a coffee and walking and talking with a friend.

The south bank is kind of a slog but it's a really great trail, I've done it in one go and it's fun how it's one large loop. Marsh and the Coquitlam river are the highlights, and the Pitt River is fantastic for spotting Eagles.

The trail is located at the old downtown nearby, recommended to have breakfast there then start your walk. Easy to travel and safe for kids.
