After he sanded my floors, there was so many ruts I had to have a new floor installed. Very dissatisfied. I contacted him and he never got back to me. Shame because we thought he had a very good work ethic.

They were more expensive but went with them because if their reputation from years ago showed up took 7 working days to install 700 sq ft floating engineered floor on concrete advised me that was the best way and not to glue it to concrete I accepted their knowledge and experience even though I wanted it gluedl It squeaked almost immediately and started to separate in the areas I told them it should have been filled to level not a big area but in significant traffic After the job was completed I tried for months to have them come back so I could pay the balance outstanding and repair the problem. It took a threatening email saying I was not going to pay until repaired after give months to hear back from them and then the owner threatened me. Please steer clear of this company especially the arrogant lady owner

We recently had Murray restore hardwood and parquet flooring . The results were amazing! Murray was very accommodating to our unique situation. We were struggling with what to do and he gave us exceptional advice which meant no job for him and a savings of thousands of dollars for us. When we do need our floors refinished we know who to call. I would have complete trust based on our conversations with him. The knowledge he shared about our unique situation was priceless.

After 20 years of cursing ceramic tile floors, I had them torn out and replaced with parquet (which I love) by Higgins Hardwood Flooring. Best decision ever. It looks amazing, was done exactly as they described in the detailed quote. This has been a great experience and not a nightmare like so many other things we have tried to do in this house. Unprofessional. Very bad results. Refinished over 2 months ago. Finish blistered in at least 30 places showing bare unfinished floor. Have not responded to calls to provide time frame to come to refinish damaged areas. Lip service only. Suggest you use any company other than Higgins. If I could have rated them 0, I would have.

I should have included my review earlier this year as Murray did a great job on a hardwood floor recoat and a sand and finish of another raw wood floor

Higgins redid our damaged hardwood floors. They were very helpful during the quote process by answering all of our questions and guiding us through the work so we knew where the costs were going and the logistics of the work. The quality of the work is outstanding. Our floors are top notch! Totally love them. Would have them back in a second.

I have known Ted for a long time ...he did a great job refinishing our floors 20 years ago ...unfortunately this is not the same company ...it would appear to be run by an absentee owner . My experience in late 2017 was horrific they damaged our floors so badly that it cost us double to have the floors repaired and refinished.This is not a company that I would endorse...This has been a disappointing experience.
