Great place for Bangladeshi grocery. You will find all kind of Bangladeshi spices. Price is kind of high side nowdays. But overall it's a good place to shop.

Honest and swear to God, I have no words to explain for how bad the customer service is at Shawdesi Bazaar foods, NE Calgary.They are keen at not accepting their mistakes and the disrespect their customers.I bought a chicken Karahi cut and chicken breast meat for the first time on Feb 17, 2021 around 14:01:22 PM (2:01PM) and by my mistake I had not checked the meat they gave to us however, it was so gross and smelled extremely unpleasant. They do not adhere quality standards according to city rules. I only ask them to accept their mistake as I have the receipt with date and time, but they refuse to listen and say that they did not sell anything to us.PLEASE CHECK YOUR MEAT TO SEE IF IT IS FIT FOR EATING FROM THEIR SHOP.ONE STAR I GAVE COZ I WANT TO POST THIS TEXT OTHERWISE I EVEN NOT GIVE THIS ONE TO THEM..EVIDENCE OF RECIEPTS AND THEIR STICKERS WITH THEIR PHONE NUMBERS ON IT ,

Amazing food, some of the best authentic Bangladeshi catering you can find. The staffs are very hard working and down to earth.I tried their bhortas and they are a must have if you're missing food from home.

Quick walk from the McKnight station. Got some meat, fish and bangladeshi snacks. Excellent place for people looking for SoutEast Asian products.

Owner is very rude and dishonest, rats running around, sells frozen cooked food as freshly cooked after heating up, frozen food sitting in the freezers for weeks and months, stores cooked and uncooked food in same freezers, overcharges and claims price mistake, very poor quality of food, blames their mistakes on customers. We got food poisoning after eating their cooked food. Very dishonest and unhealthy place.

Owner is really rude… most of the restaurants item sitting on the fridge for long time don’t recommend this place at all….
