Excellent campground. Nicely treed for good privacy, pit toilets were clean, nice trails around the area to walk the dog, firewood sold on site. Stayed here twice, and would definitely go back.

Very happy with our stay, campground was well maintained and sites are far enough to be private but close enough to make friends. Park is a Great place for kids to make friends, lots of bathrooms throughout the campground. Hard to hammer in tent pegs in some areas, lots of great options on almost all sites for hammocks. The beach trail was much harder than we expected, can do switchbacks for a very long trek or do a very sketchy straight trail to the bottom. Bad coming down, worse coming up. We heard the other trail was very nice though. Access to beach is a short drive (under 5 min). Lake was quite nice, water a very manageable temperature and decent swimming. Close to Kamloops. Liquor and cannabis store right at the turnoff from the highway, only 15-20 min from campground. Look forward to coming again with more consistent weather.

An incredibly clean and well-cared for campground. The lots are very spacious and spaced apart quite generously. You can tell that the staff take pride in looking after this place.

Clean. Loved that most sites were first come first served. Beach was beautiful, fish were jumping!

Bagged a first come first served spot at about 17:00. Park attendant checked us in and sold us firewood. $18 for one night and $12 for firewood. Campsite was good enough with plenty of space between neighbours. Nothing to write home about but a solid campsite conveniently close to Kamloops. The drive from Kamloops is lovely - very scenic.

Large campsites, fairly private, a few good walks in the area. Only complaint were the amount of flies in the pit toilets, people need to learn how to close the lid.

This park is located a moderate drive off the hwy north of Kamloops BC. The exit is well marked but Google maps does not always work well for finding this park when you are east of Kamloops. Drive north out of Kamloops before you follow Google Map directions for this park. The road is paved and a little twisty-turny but in good condition. The campground is located uphill from the lake. There is a large parking lot at the lake with room for RV’s. The road from the campground to the lake is a very long walk. Look for the beach trail from the campground. It is very steep but manageable. We prefer to drive to this beach as do most campers. There are toilet/shower buildings in this park and no site hookups. The playground is located in the center of the campground which is located on a very steep hillside. You will get a good workout walking in this park. The location high in the hills above Kamloops provide some relief from the heat and lots of shade.

Camped on Sep 4th to Sep 7th, 2020. Ok to stay. A few bugs but they not bite. There is short easy hike trail and beautiful lake. Easy access to Kamloops so it is easy to get something if you miss anything.

Nice quiet campground with simple facilities. Campfires were allowed when we're there. All the pitches are individual in the forest.Really convient for the lake for water sports, walking etc.

The site we had booked was by far one of the nicest camping sites I've seen. Super private and very well spaced apart, there was a significant amount of bush and land separating each campsite from each other so you could easily enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. 100% would stay here again. Saw some bears on the road heading towards the actual sites, but had no trouble at the actual campground.
