TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

There just seems to be a bit of a mismanagement of allocation of staff and an ability to adjust on the fly when clients in the teller line significantly outnumber staff. Repeatedly. The importance time and time again placed on a 'greeter' at the door instead of pivoting in the moment to help alleviate the waits or assist colleagues in minimizing the length of the time spent by clients waiting is puzzling. Having a business banking line would be very helpful as well Monday to Friday.

Made an appointment with Tanveer. Appointment started at 2pm, he tells me he needs to go see his colleague to print off some paperwork to view an account. He says he will call me back. Its now been 3 hours and still no call back. Disappointed with this as nothing got sorted out and none of my banking questions were addressed. He was more interested in trying to ask me about questions regarding my mortgage with another bank than he was with my other banking questions.

I walked in without an appointment and Trevor Howard was the financial advisor that helped me, he was completely honest and extremely kind with assisting me to get an account without neglecting his actual appointments. He made me feel seen and cared about! This wasn't a bank I was very interested in previously but Trevor made me want to stick with it. Thank you!

Mortgage specialist" is incredibly inept. AVOID THIS BANK FOR MORTGAGES! I have had problem after problem with this bank over the course of 10 years. Will definitely be going somewhere else when my term ends."

Since the pandemic began, this branch is one of about six TD branches that has remained open in Victoria. Unfortunately, every single time I have been there to make a deposit or pay a bill since the middle of March, there have been very long lineups and I have waited up to forty five minutes outside ( sometimes in the rain). I do not enjoy having my valuable time wasted. I have been told that I could reserve a spot in the line up, using a cell phone, however I do not have a cell phone, so this is no help at all. No staff members have been able to provide any information as to when other branches may be reopening, so it appears this will continue for the foreseeable future. Not happy!

TD is one of the worst banks they withhold my hard earned money from me constantly. They have mystery charges without warning and no explanation. They have even taken my rent money from me before causing me to lose my house! I hate them with a passion!!!!!!

Every time I have an interaction with TD at a physical branch I get calls from TD affiliated telemarketers within a day or 2. This happens without fail, every single time. I suspect that in person visits trigger an automated alert that gets sent out to their affiliates (whom TD has sold your personal information to) via a database update that the current phone # is valid and in use and then these sharks taste the blood in the water. Very annoying and it's why I use TD as little as possible now as this doesn't happen with other banks I use. Also if a staff member phones you and leaves a voice message to call them back, make sure they leave some info as to what the call is about! If you just leave a voice message asking for a call back, I have to assume that you are just going to try and sell me something so I'm not going to return your call.

WENT IN TO HELP BOSS CASH A TD BANK CHEQUE THEY DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT ENDORSEMENT ON THE BACK,Even IF THAT PERSON HAS A TD ACCOUNT? Like what you don't want to help me get paid to put into there bank? So whatever wasted our work time, don't recommend this Branch to anyone

BEWARE. The ATM at this bank swallowed my cash without depositing, after allowing me to access an account that had been closed.I have called and visited the branch numerous times but they are declining any record of it and don’t seem interested in getting to the bottom of where the transaction is and the video footage.Absolutely despicable that I have lost nearly $300 in cash due to their malfunction and they have caused me such a headache and stress trying to retrieve my money.I will be visiting this branch each week to continue to seek help and will update this review if I have any success, otherwise I will be following up with management.I am appalled at the lack of care that I am struggling to pay my bills because of their error. Please be very careful when using this bank.
