Haymach Canada - Foodservice Supplies & Restaurant Equipment Auction

David and everyone at Haymach are amazing. I was installing a commercial oven for a customer and needed to see the CSA certificate on the appliance. I talked to people at Vulcan in the States and Canada and did not get an answer. I called David and he got me the location of the name plate in a matter of minutes. He saved me and my customer time and money. Haymach London will be highly recommended to all our customers! Thanks very much to everyone at Haymach!

Purchased 4500 dollars in kitchen equipment from Haymach Canada Inc. in an online auction in London Ontario. When picking up our paid items, we found there were items missing completely and there were damages to items that made other items unserviceable. The owner dismissed this as being a non issue and suggested he would return the funds for these items. It has been two months and we are yet to see a refund. Owner says he has been too busy. Further, after cleaning the equipment there are no name plates on the cooking kitchen equipment at all, which means in the Province of Ontario the items can not be installed by a licensed gas fitting company. I contacted Haymach and brought this to his attention, he suggested it was my responsibility to inspect equipment prior to purchase and was fully aware of the Provincial laws. He was however happy to receive my money for the items we purchased. He stated he usually does provide his clients with this information, but was once again too busy to do this on the items we purchased which he sold. The owner did help push the items onto our truck, likely thinking thank goodness those items are gone, knowing he sold us a pile of issues. Sadly I cant recommend Haymach as a kitchen equipment supplier. I have no idea what to do now as we have spent our budget on this useless equipment and it has caused a serious delay on opening our new business. Trying to determine what recourse to take to resolve this issue.

Been buying a lot of equipment off these guys. if I had to say there was one superior auction company in London these would be the guys excellent service you can really trust them when they give you their word their word is solid. I spent a lot of money with them and I can tell you these guys have been a pleasure to deal with, hats off to Kevin and the crew

We have been in the food equipment resale market for close to 2 decades, resale market in general for close to 3 decades - and in that time Haymach is one of the most accommodating, professional companies we have dealt with. The staff is friendly, Kevin is terrific. I can't speak for the times (other reviews) that customers or sellers have experienced issues with these guys but it is hard to imagine any of these scenarios not being able to play out differently if the customers had perhaps been realistic with expectations, communicated better, gave opportunity for resolution, gone and previewed items prior to purchase, simply done their due diligence. No one is perfect, but customers are tough, especially auction buyers for some reason.You can buy from Haymach and have them sell for you with confidence, dealing with challenging buyers is something that you can avoid by having them sell for you!Keep up the great work Kevin and team, your wonderful customer service and professionalism is very much appreciated. We have dealt with Haymach in the past when purchasing our new equipment for our Cafe/Donut shop. Dave is a very straight forward, honest person who was amazing to deal with. We have also bought some equipment through online auctions with no issues. By looking at some of the negative reviews, all I can say is do your do diligence. It's used equipment.We just had our main mixer go down and Dave had a new 60 quart in our shop within 4 days. I'm sure the planets were in line for that to happen, but he made it happen all the same. Can't thank him enough. Highly recommend using Haymach.

I have been a customer at Haymach for years and most recently they set up a charity auction to help St Stephen's House of London. St Stephen's for the last couple of years has not been able to fundraise due to covid. We do not get any funding from the government. Brett Rimmell brought up the idea of a potential fundraising auction to make up some of the lost donations. Kevin and Christina did not hesitate and went well above and beyond to make it successful. In dealing with them as a customer and within the community I highly recommend them and the entire staff at Haymach. Avoid this company at all costs. Almost every person that I know that has dealt with them, including myself, had been ripped off by their misleading item listings.Don’t be mislead by the replies on these reviews. If you confront them about their shady business practises they will literally just ignore your responses instead of fixing the problem like most honest businesses would. This has happened to many people I know that have dealt with them.

Kevin helped us sell the equipment out of an old Dairy Queen restaurant. He was very professional and took care of the whole thing and gave us a nice cheque at the end. Hassel free and smooth process. He know the business well and is easy to work with. He was on time and delivered on all his promises. Thanks Kevin

Worst company to deal with ever. If it isn’t bad enough that they lie in their listings, once you confront them about it they act like rude children throwing a tantrum or just straight up stop replying to emails. The owner is extremely unprofessional and talks down to pretty much anyone that complains about being ripped off.Read the past bad reviews and you will quickly see this is not uncommon of this company.

I have never seen a company like haymach. I have no idea how they survive, super unprofessional and dishonest. There is a lady who name is Kelly who is not capable of doing anything and I am not even talking about the owner. I would say they are kind of a scam. My only recomendation would be staying away from them so you wouldnt have any headache. Some of the equipment from the auction wasn't working properly and it came damaged. They shipped to wrong address, we paid extra so they would give us a call, they didnt even do that, the second one it took 3 months them to ship it, it is almost impossible to reach them out, they kept saying they are busy, I guess they are the only people who is doing business.
