Byrne Creek Ravine Park
Very nice trail in the neighborhood. You can do it in a loop with some uphill/downhill sections. It’s not overly built and has retained its natural beauty. Great place to take my dog.Stay away after/during heavy rain though. The downhill section practically turns into a river.

My son and i take RC trucks here sometimes, The trails are awesome! Great for bikinq too. Reminds me of the jungle in Thailand if you go down to the lower trails. But don't go there or tell anyone about it. ²⁴

It's a good park filled with nature right in the middle of the city. Glad to see there are natural areas within GVRD areas that get good protection. Stairs are great not just to get up the hill but for exercise purposes too.

The park has a lot to offer,I went there to walk my dog through the ravine, beautiful forest this time of yearI was able to walk him off leash and he loved it down by the stream,There's a good flare open area to throw a stick and let a dog play around or kids playThe trails are getting a lot of vegetation growing onto the trail in some spots but it adds to the nature walk though the parkIt's also covered under the canapy of treesTo make a nice cooler shaded area when it's got outI did not find the ravine busy at all I went around 3pm and around 5pm

Byrne Creek Ravine Park
Nice ravine park with many public amenities, including a children's playground with slides, swings, seesaw and wading pool. Public restrooms and picnic area. Tennis courts, as well as street hockey and basketball courts available. Softball pitch across from the public restrooms. Loop through the ravine for a decent 5000 step walk with 100 stairs to get your heart rate going. A bit noisy at times due to traffic and SkyTrain noises, but peaceful near the creek. Only steps from SkyTrain station. Dogs on leash only.

Byrne Creek Ravine Park is a great place with residential access east, north, and west. Many of the resi streets also have parking.Off Marine Way, you can park in the area of Byrnepark Drive and Southwynde Avenue. From there the perimeter trail leads up to Edmonds Metro station. Then circle around and walk west to Ron McLean Park (which has washrooms). At Hedley Avenue and Portland Street, continue south on Bank Street. The tennis court is where the trail starts up again. We were so happy to find the stairs that take you down. While the upper trail mixes nature sounds with the skytrain, once in the ravine you will have just nature and running water sounds. A bridge takes you out and up to Southridge Drive. From there, you can take the sidewalk back, but definitely take the trail that goes up a small hill. That inner trail winds along with views of the ravine and the creek, and connects to the perimeter at multiple junctions.Byrne Creek Ravine Park was a really surprising and clean urban park. I thought it would just be street level strolling next to low and high rises and the skytrain, but going down into the ravine was a treat. Our walk was about one hour and went from street access to flat paved paths to another park to dirt trails to stairs to running water to a bridge to a forest hike. With so many points of access, close proximity to streets and transit, and such variety in surroundings, this is a gem to have the city.*Whoever is the artist for the various signs (re Byrne Creek Streamkeepers Society) about staying out of the creek while salmon eggs are in the gravel, you are a wonderful and humorous illustrator! Keep drawing.Daniel

I love coming to this park! It's large, plenty of activities you can do here. Running, swimming, soccer, baseball, basket ball, tennis, and badminton.

At just over 3 kilometres this is a lovely urban / nature walk. We started by the washrooms (thank you for this amenity) and went clockwise. You have a choice. Going this direction you are on a mostly downward slope until you get to the stairs which is definitely get the ticker going ! Or you could go counterclockwise and it’s down the ( couple of hundred ) stairs and a long gradual uphill. Many thanks to the people that built this gem !

I really enjoyed it here. Had never been, it was a very rainy day, and even with that everything was so lush and fresh! There are a few steps, and some parts are slightly less friendly if you were in say sandles. But the area is beautiful and nice. Can walk all the way around it. Fun for a short trek or the whole thing. Plenty of place to stop and relax, have a bite to eat. There are some little fairy houses out there and painted rocks. Super cool to have when there is so much else going on around
