Rocky Point Recreation Site
One good thing about this place: nice location. The rest is not very inviting. Campground is poorly designed so no privacy and lots of dust and noise from ATVs an dirt bikes, including the ones used ad nauseam by the host. Toilets are super-stinky, without paper, not to mention any deodorant or enzymes.

Beautiful, well maintained site. Friendly hosts, clean outhouses. The sites are large and private, with picnic tables and fire pits. Cheap wood for sale by the hosts. Stave lake is beautiful and great for swimming. There are some lovely waterfalls and pools to swim in roughly 1km from the main sites. Nice hikes nearby. Will definitely go again!

We had double site # 15. It was good. The only downfall was the guy's couldn't ride their dirt bikes bc of the fire ban and possible sparks coming off the bikes. Other than that, it was good. We love Stave lake. We've camped their 3 time's this year.

We are almost to the end of a 2 week family camping trip and I have to say it's been a very enjoyable stay. We started loosing the lake near the end of week one which has been a big disappointment BUT we have loved staying here. Outhouses are clean campsites are well maintained and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We def recommend this site to anyone looking to get away camping. We had campsites 1 n 2. Very spacious, well shaded and we did have morning sun. Was so nice having the lake close by with beach the water was so warm the entire first week.

Rocky Point Recreation Site
Beautiful site. Lovely views. Some sites can be reserved, others are first come, first serve. Great spot for boats, jet skis and kayaking. There are no quads or dirt bikes allowed on the flats by the site during camping season. The hosts and peace officers are constantly trying to enforce it. (That would make me loopy doing that day in and day out)

I drove there by mistake. The road is very tough for lower chassis cars. I saw many people driving their Mountain motorcycle on the beach. It’s interesting!

Lovely, secluded spot yet easy to get to. Look out for the road in as it's hella bumpy. Very clean, safe and peaceful. Will be back, for sure! Thanks to the Host, Jody.

Stave lake is a great place to go and enjoy scenery and camping. Not really a lake to swim in. Very dusty area but beautiful
