My engagement ring and wedding bands were all purchased from Gold n Gems. Dan and Helen guided us throughout the whole process, from picking the exact diamonds to be set on the rings, to reviewing the designs that we wanted and suggesting changes to make them more sturdy. They were never pushy, but instead gave us the facts and their professional inputs, and allowed us to make the final decisions without pressure. I was also able to see the rings while Dan was still making them, so that I could try them on and suggest changes after seeing them in real life (vs as a design on paper).Thank you, Dan and Helen, for making our dream rings! We are so happy with them!

I phoned to find out if Dan could cut the rings off my mother's fingers. He directed me to ask the firefighters. The rings were off in hours( this was not an emergency situation). The information was very helpful. Many thanks.

I only give google reviews on places that really warrant it. I have been going to this business for over 30 years. I have found the owners, ethical in their business practices and fair on pricing. I have purchased many things over the years from Danny and have needed to get things sized. Sometimes I had to wait as he had other jobs ahead of mine. Other times he accommodated me when he could. If there are other time sensitive jobs ahead of mine, then I had to wait which is fair. I would highly recommend Danny & Helen. I have been going here for over 30 years and I am always treated with respect, professionalism and high work ethics. Danny is a very honest man and when you ask his opinion on something you bring in for repairs you will get an honest answer. I like honest people. If you want cheap jewelry fixed, then take it to the mall for repairs is what I say. Danny does not want to see you waste your money, so he is very honest. You don’t see work ethics like that anymore. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. That is why I keep coming back to them. I travel 45 minutes to see them. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Daniel. We came to him from a bunch of reviews with an old ring from my fiance's mother. We had a rough reference for what we wanted and Daniel gave us a lot of expert advice and suggestions to extend the longevity of our design. Within a month we had a beautifully custom designed ring. We're extremely happy with it and he gave us a spectacular deal, and gave us some discounts on the excess gold from the original ring.

I do not recommend coming here to get your ring resized if your jewelery is from another location as Danny will judge you and try and pressure you to buy his own jewelry.We originally came here to get my engagement ring resized as we only saw good reviews of this place. We first met with Helen, who helped us pick the right ring size to resize to. Helen was very nice and knowledgable. She was babysitting a cute cat at the store. We made an appointment to pickup the ring the next day at 1pm.The next day, my fiance went to the store to pick up the ring at 1:30pm, and we were greeted by Danny. Danny said the ring was not ready yet and instead of getting the ring ready, he kept trying to sell his stuff to us saying that we should return our ring and give him business instead. My fiance was in a rush and told Danny that he needed to go multiple times, but Danny just kept blabbing on and on about how my ring was overpriced.The ring ended up being a perfect size, however for all the headache that it took to get it, I would not come here again. It is too bad, as we were potentially going to do business at this place for our wedding rings.

We had my engagement ring custom made here and the level of service we received from Dan and Helen was unmatched.They worked within our budget to find us the perfect diamond and patiently provided several versions of sample rings to refine the design to my liking. The attention to detail, knowledge of the industry and pride in work are their biggest strengths.Dan made sure every little detail was perfect. He offered valuable advice on how to create the look I wanted while still ensuring my ring had the strength needed to keep my diamond safe.When choosing my diamond they walked us through all the different quality levels showing us under the magnifying glass what to look for when choosing a quality diamond and how to choose based on the setting we were using.The price was much less than any brand name jewelry store and the quality was far superior. I've been going to Danny for almost a decade now. He's always been professional, friendly and honest. The one thing I am awed about him is how he's able to keep up with the current trends then fulfill any and all customisations I need or imagine. His pricing is very reasonable and his handiwork is out of this world. Forget those big box stores like Spence Diamond, Rodan and Anne-Louise, Gold N Gems is the real deal. You won't regret it!

Daniel and Helen were recommended to us by friends of ours, and we are so glad we went with that recommendation! I bought my wedding band here (obviously a more basic purchase, but they made it easy), and but their real worked showed in the fixing my wife's engagement ring, which was an heir loom from my grandma. Daniel did an amazing job in updating and resizing the ring, and we are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. They are very knowledgeable, and don't push things you don't need. Can't recommend enough if you need anything jewelry-related.
