Everyone always talks about first impressions. And while they are incredibly important, sometimes the last impression really matters most.I never wanted to have to call Eternal Companions. No one does. But I'm so happy I did.When our beloved, 16-year-old cat Marly suddenly passed away we needed to find someone who could help us with our pain and begin the healing process.We could not have found better people. The first impression, was filled with compassion, caring and understanding. And so much patience, allowing us to grieve before saying our final goodbye.But it is the last impression that really made this experience truly special.Months after having brought Marly in I returned to pick up some additional things. I was greeted with so much warmth, and dare I say love. Just as I had been the first time. It was almost like meeting friends again. Truly special. And very rare in this day and age to have such a genuine and authentic level of customer service.So, would I recommend Eternal Companions? The answer is absolutely. Without a doubt, I will recommend their service to anyone and everyone.I do hope that this review helps many people begin their grieving journey. It most certainly did for our family.

No matter how ready you think you are, it is still devastating to lose a family pet after 14 years. Eternal Companions are a wonderful, caring, compassionate team who really took care of me/us. I didn't realize how many details I was going to have to make decisions on but Donna gave me all the time I needed from choosing a picture to the name plate on the bamboo urn (which is gorgeous). I wanted something a little different and their engraver came through.The beautifully presented package contained special messages and touches from the team in addition to the urn and card I knew was coming. It was so classy and filled with love. I knew Chi was well taken care of. I highly recommend their services and the added bonus for us is that they are also a local company. I wrote a review here years ago, but I don't understand why it's no longer on Google. So, it's my pleasure to repost it. I used Eternal Companions several years ago to cremate the body of a beloved stray cat named Ghost that I was taking care of. He was too feral to be socialized, so I had a heated shelter for him. He lived happily in my yard for years until I found him dead in his little shelter one morning. I was crushed. I brought him to Eternal Companions, and while I was talking with the manager, a very kind member of the staff took him out of the box, prepared him, and exposed him in their very cozy comforting funeral parlor. Poor Ghost had never been shown so much respect. I was brought to tears. It was so moving. The crematorium is right there on site. So your beloved animal will not spend days in a van on his way to a crematorium in Toronto or somewhere else, which is what happens now in many animal funeral services. Eternal Companions provides personalized services, very, very respectfully. I would recommend no other. I'm here today because I must now see to the remains of my beloved Max who passed away after a long battle with cancer. I will call Eternal Companions tomorrow morning. I will consider no other funeral service. I found the best, and I will stick with Eternal Companions for the rest of my life.

I’ve had all 4 of my cats cremated at eternal companions. The staff there is so kind, which goes so far, especially when you are calling them in a state of grief and distress. They’re incredibly respectful, and I trust that they are treating my animal like they would their own. They are also extremely accommodating, my last animal died suddenly on Easter Monday. We were able to bring him in an hour after calling, I honestly don’t know what I would have done otherwise. They worked with me afterwards to make sure I was getting what I wanted in regards to my package and his treatment. The package they give you when you pick up the remains in gorgeous. Having their ashes always brings me a great sense of comfort, but the fur clipping they include is a really special touch. I paid extra for a clay paw print and an ink print. I would absolutely hands down recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in the inevitable, but horribly unfortunate situation of having to say goodbye to their beloved companion. Thank you so much, but I hope to not have to use your services for another like 48 years

I cannot say enough on how Catherine and her team of this establishment are compassionate, empathetic, understanding and caring. I wish I would have known of this company when we had to put my beautiful Chase to sleep. I dealth with Catherine and her team only after Chase's passing, I found this company on-line and viewed the wonderful choice of items they offer. I then contacted them in order to purchase a pendant, a frame with Chase's paw print and the beautiful throw. Catherine and her team were warm and understanding and treated both my husband and myself with such care. I dealt with them over the phone and in person, and each time I felt like I was heard, cared for and that even though they did not know Chase any only dealt with him after his passing, they treated me with such respect and care. I have to say I really felt the love and the love they have for all our animal companions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have two beautiful felines at home and will in the very very future, deal with Catherine and her team when that time comes (this company and only this company). They are trully amazing.

We felt great comfort that Shelby was well looked after while in your care, giving us peace of mind. We thank you for returning our girl home. You provide a beautiful service. I wish I could give 100 stars to Eternal Companions. When my beloved dog got sick, and I was faced with the inevitable, I called Eternal Companions to get some information on their services. Donna not only took her time to explain things to me, she also listened as I talked of my best friend of almost 15 years, and she comforted me when I could no longer hold back my tears. A few days later my sweet Mimi became an Angel, and I called Donna back to prepare for a private cremation. From beginning to end, the entire team at Eternal Companions gave the highest quality service, attentive care, unparalleled kindness and compassion. This team truly understands that pets are family and that they too deserve a dignified end of life care. I can't even begin to thank the entire team at Eternal Companions. I am so grateful to them, and for all that they do. They went above and beyond and I know my Mimi was so well cared for. A thank you also to Diva the resident cat, who didn't leave my side as I said goodbye to Mimi. She was such a comfort to have during that difficult day. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart.

When dealing with the loss of our eldest cat on a Sunday we were very pleased to be able to reach someone at Eternal Companions. We had read the great reviews and were not disappointed. I first called and had the opportunity to leave a message but I did not but then I called back shortly thereafter and someone answered. The woman let us know that someone would meet us there. They came in when the business was closed and met us during a very emotional and difficult time. The location, albeit a bit tricky to find the first time, is lovely and comforting and the resident cat is charming. We could not have found a better place to bring our feline family member and I would recommend it to anyone.
