SS&D: The Movers were extremely professional. Planning for the move was very straightforward. On the day of the move, Ryan and Edwin arrived exactly on time. They carefully protected all furniture being moved and the flooring in our home. They worked steadily and demonstrated skill in the logistics of the move and in handling furniture that was challenging to get through doorways.We were very satisfied and will recommend them to friends and colleagues.

We got quotes from multiple companies, and after on site quotes, 2 companies said at least 10 hours and over $2000, one even suggested doing the move over 2 days, as we had a 3 bedroom house and a 10x30 storage unit. SS&D had the best hourly rate, so we went with them even without an on site quote. They showed up on time and were great guys. Not only did they wrap everything, they also protected our floors and walls. The move was done in 5 hours. Total cost for us with tax (and four movers) was less than $1000!! That is less than half the cost we were quoted from other companies! So impressed, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone wanting a reasonably priced move done by a professional company!

I had such a pleasant experience using SS&D The Movers. All of my furniture arrived to my new location on time! They took care of special requests like boxing and wrapping certain items. They were quick, friendly and clean. Affordable service and they're trucks are lime green! I would definitely recommend these guys if you're looking to get your stuff moved in one piece.

I have used SS&D on several occasions for several types of moves. I have received nothing less than exceptional service! Always on time, professional and extremely delicate which furniture. I have used numerous moving companies in the past and none have been as hard working and quick as SS&D. The owner is great with confirming appointments, following up on moves and an absolute professional. Definitely the best moving company I have ever done business with! Ryan and his team were super professional, punctual, and accurate with their quotes. We used SS&D to move from our 2 bedroom apartment, to a four bedroom house on the other side of the city. We were very nervous because we had never used a moving company prior to this move, but SS&D exceeded our expectations! They were right on time, quickly wrapped up our furniture and definitely knew what they were doing. They did not waste any time and what was quoted to be a 4-7 hour job only took 3.5 hours! Everything was handled with care and we even recommended them to my mother who is also moving soon.
