Buyers beware! Every year as the roofing season starts, so are the “so-called roofers” that mushroom in dark corners to pray on the vulnerable home owners with so-called “deals”. Before I had my roof done, I took quotations from about ten (10) reputable roofers from Niagara Region and did a detailed evaluation – main criteria being number of years in business, installers employed by the company, industry standard quality materials used, number of bundles required for the job, and the total price, additional work to be done, like solar-tube sky-lights etc. The quote submitted by Dykstra Bros. roofing came out to be the lowest evaluated price. The price differences were very huge – in the thousands. A supply and installation contract agreement with Dykstra was signed. There was no requirement for advance payment. Material was delivered on the due date, well experienced two-man crew did the installation and finished the job on time. It took more than two weeks to receive the invoice for the payment. I had two (2) solar tube sky-lights installed as well. All in all flawless work at the right price.

Called them after high winds and shingle in garden. Martin inspected roof. Two shingles fixed shortly after by Rob. Awesome service...prompt, courteous, reliable and good value. Have used this company for outside work/roof several times including roof inspection, drainpipe issues and ice jam. I recommend them. 10/10

I used Dykstra more than once to repair wind damage to one section of my roof. After one repair I had them come out and do an estimate for replacing the entire roof. The estimate was reasonable, but they also said the overall roof was easily good for another 5 or 6 years.I promptly forgot about it until a year and half later when more wind damage occurred. I got an updated estimate and scheduled the shingle replacement.The crew showed up as scheduled. They kept me informed when they were leaving for lunch and end of the day. Great communications.The crew did a very good job of planning the job. They only removed the shingles on a section(s) of the roof that they could finish with the new shingles that day. Very Important as we had several days of rain. The roof was always completely covered and water tight when they left for the day.I was also impressed with shingles Dykstra recommended, they are vastly better than what was the house. (The new shingles are guaranteed against wind damage, product and labour.)One last item after everyday, repairs and install, the entire yard was clean of debris, it was if they had been there.

I called Dykstra Bros Roofing in November 2018 after experiencing a roof leak. When I contacted my insurance company, they sent out a different roofing company (Herb Lodde from St Catharines) who sent one of their roofers to fix" our leak. After the next rain fall

We had an unusual roof installation that encountered some difficulties and were concerned they would not be addressed. Could not have been more wrong as every concern we had was addressed regardless of the cost to the company. This is a company with a high moral compass and owners with integrity. I would recommend them without hesitation.
