The next door neighbour hired them to remove a tree from their property. I came home to find shredded wood all over my driveway, front lawn and roof. Asked the neighbour to fix it. First employee said he didn't have a rake and would send another crew that had one. The second crew had a rake with teeth like those pigeon deterrents, 1.5 inch gaps between them. Their response when questioned about the ineffectiveness of their raking was, its all we have" and "who cares

Greg and Andrew cut down and removed an extremely large pine tree which had fallen on neighbour's property during the recent storm in Ottawa. It was a complicated job which they carried out in a highly professional manner. The job required important decision making and precision in cutting.We were very happy with not only the job carried out but with their positive attitude. They did a great job cleaning up branches and debris.We highly recommend Capital Timber. Best of all the tree was taken to their mill for processing into a lumber product. Nice to know the tree will live on!

We hired Capital Timber Company to remove several trees from our yard that were right next to the fence and house. Setting up the tree removal with them was easy. They were polite and professional, and the crew was skilled and efficient. They were careful of our property and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.They did a great job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Capital Timber (under this name and a previous company) has been working on our place for years. They're diligent and thorough. They've been very flexible to accomodate our scheduling. Sometimes a good test of a contractor is how well they clean up after - and they clean up aggressively. They work quickly and efficiently. They respond well to emails. When we ask for advice about trimming, we get it and it isn't self serving - they don't try to make extra work for themselves. All in all, a good solid company. We've been very happy and feel that they've looked after us well.

This company was able to deliver storm recovery actions on my property effectively and efficiently. In addition to their hands on work, they arranged to work together with a crane operator for 4 hr to deal with the mess. They arranged for a logging truck and Mac truck to deal with the pick up which was done in less than 24 hr! They are in my future for more work do be done on my property! Andrew and team removed a large tree from our front yard using a crane, and later ground down the stump. Excellent service and a reasonable price. Also very good communications. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

They did a great job removing some trees on our property that were very close to the house and the garage. I had a tall red oak that had to be removed from my cottage property and I wanted to use the lumber for wood working projects. Capital Timber did an excellent job at both removing the tree and sawing it into about 500+ board feet of quarter-sawn lumber. They even delivered the lumber back to my cottage after one year air drying at their saw mill. Thanks so much for your high quality and very professional service. We recently used the services of Capital Timber Company to have some very large branches cut as well as have a mostly dead cedar cut down. We were very impressed dealing with this company from start to finish. The pricing was fair; the staff were friendly, efficient and skilled; they did everything they said they would and even some extra; lastly they cleaned everything up leaving our place tidy. Highly recommended if you have trees/branches that need to be cut.
