Dis-A-Ray Antiques

Well, the name is a good description of the shop! It’s full of interesting stuff that you have to dig for and look in corners. Ray also had a lot of stuff stashed away in drawers that was not obvious. He had a few war service medals in a display case and when I asked about them he mentioned that he also had a huge assortment in a drawer.... which he pulled out and he was not kidding! Hundreds of silver medals and many of them were from WW2 new in the box! And he gave me a good deal in the few I bought.The place is definitely worth a look. Plus Ray is full of advice and information about all things collectible.

Ray is a genuine icon, I’d recommend going just to have a chat with him. Incredibly informative guy, super helpful, always getting new and interesting things. He’s the kind of guy that if you are short a couple of dollars will tell you, “just to take it” or to pay when you can.

Guelph's best and only Antique Store!! You want some cool old stuff, movie props, vintage bicycles, collectibles, Antiques, historic artifacts, neat toys, you name it Ray has it!! Truly one of Guelph's best hidden gems!!!

This place is gross. Dirty and musty. There's the odd thing that's interesting but it's not organized or clean inside. There's trip hazards and items stacked to the ceiling. The picture posted of the computer says it all. It's pretty disgusting.Needs a thorough cleaning and organization. Could be a great place with some effort.Please like the review if you found it helpful. :)

Dis-A-Ray has a great collection of antiques, collectibles and odd one of a kind pieces available! Whenever we are looking for something weird we always check with Ray! Don't forget to ask him as he has stuff in other places! We always stop in when we are downtown and highly recommend him to everyone who enjoys unique items.

Ray is awesome! He is my go-to guy whenever I am looking for something unusual or quirky. It's definitely worth popping into his shop whenever you're downtown just to see what new and unique things he has found since last time you were there! If you are looking for something specific, make sure to ask him, as he often has things in different markets and different places, but he might be able to help you find what you're looking for!

verything is dis-a-ray here but some gems to be found for sure. Great place, fair prices & fun to visit. Ray has a great sense of humor, very friendly & helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The owner is friendly and eccentric. I had a great time looking at curious finds and bought a few items for my home. Parking was a little tricky for me as I’m not from Guelph so I’m not familiar with the area. I’ll definitely pop in when I’m in the area again.I love supporting little shops like this one!
