Small but cozy restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful ..... menu is full of great choices .... the food was amazing!! Large portions & fair pricing.

I enjoyed being in this cafe with my hubby. Good coffee and comfortable atmosphere. I was quite impressed with the gender neutral toilet!

Excellent food here, my father and I stopped in for lunch, Burger, fish and fries all delicious. Fast and Friendly service.. we are full but will be back..

I liked the practicality and straightforwardness of the server. Food tasted very home-y and very tasty. Soups was sooo yummy.

What a pleasant surprise it was to stumble upon this little gem! Driving to the cottage we stopped for a quick bite and were blown away by the friendly staff and the delicious food. I have eaten fish and chips all across Canada and this was definitely one of the best, hand cut fries, generous portions and just the right amount of crunch! We will make Babin’s Cookhouse a regular stop! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Glad we found this place. Stopped I for a quick lunch. The portion for the price is amazing. Had the fries and hir beef sandwich. My wife had the burger. Delicious. Don't get to Chesley much but next time we're back I'm going in to try the Reuben Sandwich

Decent menu, prepared well. The only issue we have with this place is the hours? Closed on the weekends when folks actually want to go out to eat? Closed at 6:00 on Tuesday, right at dinner time? 7:00 Wednesday and Thursday, and 8:00 on Friday. Seriously bizarre. Shouldn’t restaurants be open when people want to eat?

I love making the little bit of drive to get here because it's always worth it. I can't get enough of the fish taco, I should really try something else on the amazing menu, but it's sooooo good. The staff is always happy and friendly, another good sign. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
