Bloor Fruit Market
This is my second time reviewing Bloor Fruit Market because it is that good. They somehow are the only place in Toronto that I know of that actually keeps pre pandemic prices. They used to be about 10-20% cheaper than metro and now they re probably 50-60% cheaper. If only they sold meat, daily and other grocery products like pasta, I’d never go to Metro again.

I was driving by on my way home to Newmarket and had to stop when I saw the glorious fruits and veggies outside. THIS right here will be my weekly drive down from Newmarket for this incredible selection and even better prices. I told my husband it's as if each strawberry was picked by hand and packed, not a single bad fruit in anything you pick. The staff works hard to make sure everything is fresh and nothing short of the best to sell. I can't tell you as a consumer how much I appreciate the quality and the price for what you get in return. This is a one stop shop, they got it all!

The venerable BLOOR FRUIT MARKET at the corner of Bloor Street West and Manning is an oasis of fresh quality and inexpensive Western & Asian fruits and vegetables attended to by a small army of hard working folks replenishing the stocks and computer sharp checkout ladies knowing the last decimal of everything. It's a preferred go-to location with better quality items at lower prices than our behemoth grocery chains.

Agreed it is ridiculously reasonable when it comes to prices. If you spend above a certain amount you can use debit. Baby spinach is more than 60% off supermarket prices, for context. I also buy all of my last minute and just because flowers here. They're $5.99 (seasonal)-$16.99 (roses) a bunch.

Love this fruit market. They always have fresh fruit and lots of varieties. The staff are very respectful and friendly to their costumers. Sometimes when the flowers in the shop are not great enough for selling, they give them away to their costumers for free which I think it is very nice.

legendary fruit store. I actually bought my mom a drawing of this place for Mother's Day since we go so often. great prices, better fruit, and my favorite thing about them is they'll tell you if something by the pound is going to end up very expensive and you may not realize it. just because the cashiers move fast doesn't mean you have to!
