Alleen's Custom Window Treatments

I've used Alleen's for automatic Hunter Douglas blinds for my home and office and had a great experience working with them. Nadia is professional and attentive with her customers. Highly recommend!

I have been using Alleens window treatments for 15 years, 3 different apartments. They have high quality materials. My last blinds kept getting stuck and they wanted to charge me $250 for someone to come and fix it. I SPEND $7500 for all my wi dow treatments. I will never go to that company again - never!!!

We selected Alleen to make the custom drapes for 2 bedrooms and our office. We were very pleased with one bedroom and the office, but the master bedroom and closet were an unmitigated disaster. They now want me to pay for their mistakes, saying the their labour charges have increased and expecting me to pay to replace the blind that never worked from the day it was installed and now will no longer match the drapes for the bedroom due to their poor guidance. I'm disappointed in their customer service, especially given how expensive this order was.

3 weeks ago I came to Alleen’s for my daughter bedroom. It’s a beautiful bay window on the 3rd floor. I was not sure what would work the best and I had been to another company who recommended roller blinds but the staff at Alleen’s took the time to advise me about the product and the fact that it would let a lot of light through the gaps! I was grateful as it is a bedroom and I wanted to keep out the light.Great staff who takes time to explain the details. I will be sure to return to Alleen’s and use them for my next project in the spring.Thank you

Allen came over from Alleen's today to reinstall a cord that had broken off of our blinds prior to us moving into a new condo. Allen could not have been nicer or more efficient. He also went the extra mile of showing what had been wrong on blinds that we had in the bedroom, and fixed everything in under 10 minutes. Would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Took 4 months and hundreds of calls to get order completed correctly. They got the order wrong 3 times - drapes the wrong length, sent wrong hardware for one window and the wrong blind for another. We expected a lot more for $8,000. Save yourself the headaches and go elsewhere. Customer service was almost non -existent once they got the deposit. I'd call to ask about the status of the order, was told by Sonia she'd check into it and call back, but she never did. Finished product ok, but could have got the same without the hassles elsewhere.

My initial impression of Alleen's was good, there was attention to detail and a lot of help given finding the right colour and something with a quick delivery. Everything went downhill after I put the deposit though.Due to a scheduling issue with my renovation contractor, they could not get in to complete the check measure. Instead of calling me (I was down the street and could have let them in) they left and told me a day later it was not completed. At that time they also told me that they were fully booked up so I would not get a check measure for another 1.5-2 weeks. They came about 1.5 weeks later and measured and then I received no followup communication.I waited about two weeks before sending an email to Shelley (who had sold me the blinds) but never got a response. Several days, emails and phone calls later and I still had no answer. Finally I got a hold of Margarita who had dispatched the check measure to see if she could help me. She looked into and found that my blinds had already been received by the store and said someone should have already called to book the install, which they hadn't. She managed to get me an appointment the next day which was great. Margarita and the installer Alan are the only reasons this isn't a one start rating.Note: If you buy the vinyl blinds, the off-gassing is terrible when they are initially unrolled. I put these in my bedroom and couldn't get rid of the toxic smell for over a week with windows open and a fan blowing on it constantly. Its a very low quality product.

As a design professional who has been working with Alleen's for over 10 years I can say that they have been terrific in recommending the right product for the differentprojects I bring to them.The staff are professional and their product knowledge is excellent.I rely on them to point out the benefits and the drawbacks of the different products, to measure and install.The product range is extensive and they offer a variety of brands....and I am thrilled with the pricing.I feel confident in recommending Alleen's to my clients!

I recently purchased Lutron shades from my client and Alleen's did a fantastic job! I The consultant was very helpful and the installers were very efficient. Will be using Alleen's for future projects.
