Sherose Island Nature Trail

This trail rocks! Literally. I highly recommend stopping and checking out all the differently painted rocks along the trail. It can be a fun time going with a family or as a couple to look for rocks everywhere on the trail. Some rocks were in themed sections whereas other rocks were found all over the trail. We took 1.5 hours to explore it all and it was truly a unique experience that we could see ourselves coming back to in the future.Top tips:-Use bug spray; there are so many mosquitos in the woods-Google Maps will guide you to Park Lane. Drive forward and on your right all the way to the end, will be the entrance to the trail. Park your car at the entrance.-Be sure to enter the trail at any point with the two brightly painted big rocks. If you use the big paved trail, you’ll end up at the boat launch area and miss out on all the fun within the trail.-If you want, bring a painted rock to leave behind and take one (not in the themed section) as a souvenir.
