She took her time to sort through all the possibilities for my specific situation and has been patient, compassionate and extremely helpful in accommodating what was best for me.Cathy is professional, very knowledgeable and up to date with all the new technology and options available.I based my decision to come to Sound Hearing Care Niagara on the reviews I read, I suggest you do the same, you will not be disappointed! When I decided to get my hearing tested I was reluctant to go to a big chain as I was certain they would try to sell me hearing aids regardless of my hearing levels. I was drawn to this clinic as I could see that it was an independent audiologist. I also like to support small business whenever I can.Catherine, the audiologist is knowledgeable, personable, and not pushy. She is truly a health care professional. She explained the testing process and the results very clearly and answered all of my questions. She outfitted me with testers that day!My hearing loss is minor and the decision of whether or not to get aids was entirely up to me. I decided to do it and am really happy with the result. More importantly, I am thrilled with my decision to go with an independent clinic. I never felt pushed or pressured in any way and came away with a pair of excellent devices for much less money that I thought I would be paying. I know what I would pay at a chain, and this was less!Thank you Cathy, for your great service!!.

I've owed this compliment to Sense of Hearing since our trip to Niagara this past spring 2023. I arrived to find that I didn't have the charger for my hearing aids. SOH was so kind to let me borrow a charge for the length of our stay. What a life saver!Thank you once again,Eric

This was my first experience with a hearing aid retailer.My expectation was that they would do anything to induce me to purchase a hearing aid. How wrong I was!Cathy, the professional audiologist, reviewed the hearing test that she had done previously and suggested that, with my type of hearing loss, a hearing aid would likely not improve my hearing experience.Nonetheless, when I requested a trial hearing aid, she went ahead with having a custom-fitted device prepared. When it arrived, she assured me that I could visit her during the trial period for any adjustments.At no time did I feel any pressure to purchase.However, I eventually did purchase the hearing device, which has exceeded both our expectations in helping my hearing.Cathy and the staff at Sound Hearing Care were professional and attentive to all my concerns. I felt like I was in a medical clinic, instead of a retail store.I most highly recommend Sound Hearing Care for anyone seeking a professional and thorough experience!

As someone who has struggled with hearing loss for many years but did not want hearing aids, I decided to make an appointment (at my family's request!) to explore my options at Sound Hearing Clinic. I chose this place due to great online reviews. I received excellent service from Cathy who I found very knowledgeable and just a pleasure to deal with. I decided to try hearing aids and was very surprised to find out that they are very small, light and comfortable and very hard for someone to notice. What a difference in my quality of hearing! I made an appointment here in March on the advice of my family doctor. After having flown in late January my right ear seemed like I couldn't hear properly from that ear, so I went for a hearing test.The office is modern and bright and, Laura, the audiologist, was extremely efficient, helpful, and explained all the tests. I had never been to an audiologist before, so really didn't know what to expect, but everything went smoothly.I have already recommended this office to friends and would definitely recommend to others.Thanks, Laura, for your professionalism and courtesy!

She provided concise, simple language to help us navigate the cutting edge technology of remote control, Bluetooth, rechargeable units. Completely professional with heart! The clinic is light, welcoming and calming, and with the necessary precautions in place for the Covid pandemic. Cathy clearly cares about what she does and working out the best solution for me, and I received clear and honest advice. I was nervous going into this, but could not have had a better experience.
