High quality professional service. After the initial hiccup the team at Iron Salon came through with a fantastic experience. Amanda was prompt, polite and took the time to get to know me. Prices are fair and the overall ambiance is fun and relaxed. The salon is full of life, happy customers coming and going, I booked a recurring appointment so I can stay silky smooth.

I came to iron today and was quite un impressed with the staff and overall reception. I walked in just before 3pm there was no reception staff to be found but a notice saying to use the iPad to sign in. I signed in and selected no appointment and entered my information as requested to then sit in the waiting room for 43 minutes while 2 stylists came out to cash out their clients I was not greeted and as soon as they ended the conversation with their clients they quickly ran out back without so much as a word to me. At 3:45 I decided to get up and see if I could find assistance. I went to the back to find a stylist busy working and I asked if there was someone to assist me and was informed they do not do walkins as it’s a chair rental salon despite the lovely sign in app having a selection of NO appointment booked. I completely understand having a booking salon only as both my mother and Aunt run and own successful salons in NovaScotia but the lack of communication and to have 2 stylists in your salon that would not ask if I was helped or needed anything is about as poor customer service as you can deliver and an hour of my time wasted.

This is the best salon in the city! I have been to both Tracy and Stacey and those girls are pure geniuses. Make sure to book ahead as they are in super high demand.

Amanda is amazing! Been going to her for a hot min, from her last location and now here. Salon is very chic, big fan of the iron detailing and the stations are very clean.Amanda always makes sure I understand exactly what it is I’m wanting to do and is so kind.

Steph Walsh is an absolute master stylist, and a delight to spend some time with. I came on with triangle shaped damaged hair looking for someone to fix an awful previous haircut I had (not from here). I had uneven pieces, one side was massively layered and I had an undercut that was growing out, but was also horribly uneven. I was looking to add way more volume on top since my hair was massive around the ends and the problem is gone!I could go on and on about the cut but I also had colour added to my hair, which isn't easy as it is so naturally dark. I've always wanted to try fun colours and now I have this really cool purple/pink that I just love. My hair feels so healthy, finally sits right and shines different colours in the light. I also love that the salon already uses products that I have at home like Kevin Murphy, such a nice luxurious experience and results that you can be ecstatic about!

I’ve been going to Iron Salon since it opened and it is always the best experience! My hair always comes out even better than I could have imagined and I am always happy with the results. I recommend this salon any chance I get!

I have always been very impressed with my entire experience each time I am at Iron Salon, from start to finish. I have seen Tracy for all of my appointments ranging from cuts, colors and styling for special events. She is friendly, knowledgeable and listens to exactly what I want - and discusses it with me before she begins. The results are absolutely perfect, and I always get many compliments afterwards from friends and family.Stacey, the owner is very welcoming and kind, and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. The special flavored coffee was a nice treat. The salon is upscale, with lovely furnishings, an inviting area by the fireplace where you can watch TV while your color processes. They also provide complimentary wifi. Very specific Covid-19 safety protocols have been implemented, because they care about all of their clients.It is a very clean and organized high end salon. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality results in a quality environment.

Amanda @hairbyitsamanda is absolutely amazing! She’s been my hairstylist for 8+ years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my blonde. She always understands what I’m looking for when I want to slightly change it up, and delivers exactly what I want. My blonde is so healthy and bright thanks to her! Amanda is so easy to talk to and the hours just fly by when I’m in her chair. I’m so grateful to have such a talented hairstylist. Go see her, it will be the best decision you make for your hair!
