Pretty good sushi. I recommend the strawberry cheese roll (super unique), a variety of mango rolls, the cheese wontons and of course my favourite salmon sashimi (so tasty). Skip the cocktails, overpriced and in my opinion nothing unique. Also skip the squid, it was overcooked when we got it.However, the AYCE service was fast and friendly and the inside ambiance was incredible. The high price is worth it.

The sashimi is very creamy, and the sushi is also tasty. Deep fried mars bar is recommended as well. However, whatever you do, do not order the mango cream cheese sushi

Jinzikaya is my favourite sushi restaurant in the area. I've thoroughly enjoyed every menu item I ordered, including sushi, appetizers and desserts. The 90-minute time limit is a bit on the shorter end, but their service is quick enough to provide you with what you need within the time limit as long as you are placing orders within a reasonable time frame. Atmosphere is fun and enjoyable.

We wanted to try either of their locations since covid times but due to the price had to keep looking else where till today we decide to take the bite at lunch for a treat and experience what makes it such.- interior is very nice, bit small and cramped but clean and nice decor- service was excellent, the guy was like a professional as he explained what is available and how to order and we felt at ease siting in a restaurant for his polite nature. Smooth skills.- now the food options were great for lunch, and everything came so quick, was mind boggling even though the customers just started coming. Tempura, salad, sushi were great. The calamari felt like octopus tentacles (just guessing from looks and strong fishy smell), the scallops did not seem real due to rolled strips texture and very soft. Deep fried tofu came in deep bowl of sauce, got soggy and didn't like the taste.If you are experienced foody, may know. Other than that amazing quantity, quality overall looks good and taste was above average for AYCE.Certainly recommend this place for AYCE sushi.And lastly like many others I get mad as well where gratitude and tip is default to 15% minimum. Crazy world transformation, food is tough deal now.

Best ayce spot in Waterloo. Food tasted super fresh! Also got melona bars for desert which is a nice change from those ice cream cups. Quite pricey though, dinner for 2 with a drink each came to around $120

Very popular AYCE sushi place in Uptown. The selection and quality of all the items were very good, as was the service and general ambiance of the restaurant. I felt it was too expensive, and not that much better than other, much cheaper, AYCE sushi places to justify it.

Great place for Japanese AYCE. Efficient and friendly services. Food quality is really good. Drinks are excellent. The restaurant is a bit small, but you would still enjoy the 90-minute dining time. AYCE menu covers a great variety of food for you to try.

Very good quality sushi, definitely one of the best in town. We really enjoyed our dinner and the staff was very nice. A little bit pricey but it is also AYCE, so it is not a big deal especially for this quality of food. Thank you very much!!!

Dined in for dinner last night to celebrate a family member’s graduation. I am the only vegan out of my family and our server Ramona was very accommodating and willing to find out if certain dishes/sauces on the menu were vegan or could be made vegan for me. Everyone at our table really appreciated Ramona’s service, she was super on top of things, very helpful, attentive and lovely. The rest of our table thoroughly enjoyed the selection of very fresh sashimi, rolls, and grilled meats. The only reason I am taking a star away is for their time limit and how they tried to charge $5 for an 8 month old baby that didn’t even eat anything other than a bit of avocado. An hour and a half is a bit tight for all you can eat and when you’re there to celebrate a special occasion.

Great Japanese izakaya style all you can eat restaurant. There is lots of variety of sushi and cooked dishes to choose from. Everything was well made and tasted fresh.The service was fast and very attentive, there is a 90 minute limit which is plenty of time to eat.
