Japan Camera Centre 1 Hour Photo

I called today to ask if they could make photos for permanent residence, the person on the phone said yes and to go right away. We went and the machine to print the photos was not working. I asked the mister how long it would take, he said 15 minutes tops, and he said that after half an hour. My husband stayed there to have our photos printed, he stayed there almost an hour and finally he left. This was a terrible experience. We waited a long time and the person there never said to us clearly that the machine was not working and that it would not be working for the day. He just wasted our time. Never going back there.

I got my passport photo taken there. Totally cool guy and reasonable price.

I had a great experience at this place. I needed a digital photo with two different sizes and specs for visa and work. The person there was friendly, polite and quick. After he prepared the photos, he gave me their business card and told me to email him if I needed the photo with different specs. One of the photos didn't work out because it was too big to upload. So, I emailed him and he got back to me quickly with another photo with the correct resolution and size. Overall, he was very polite, professional and efficient. Their prices are also much more affordable than other places around. I would definitely go back for future photos.

We called and we were told they do passport photos for babies as young as 2 weeks old. We get there with our 5 weeks old, and then the guy tells us to put him sitting on the box. I try to explain that a 5 weeks old can't hold himself or his head and my hands can't be in the photo. He says well you need a white background. So I try to explain to him that on the passport canada website it is stated that newborn can be in their carseat with a white blanket covering their seat. He tells me no it has to be an even white background sitting on the box. So according to him, not a single baby who can't hold his head has a passport.Unprofessional, moronic photographer.Waste of our time. We even called before dealing with this idiot.FYI straight from the passport canada website:For newborn babies, the photo may be taken while your child is sitting in a car seat, as long as:a white blanket is placed over the seat behind their headthere are no shadows:around the earsin the backgroundon the face or shouldersMaybe you should hire actual photographers and take down your we do passport photo signs because you clearly don't have a clue about the photos regulations.

I took old family pictures in order to digitalize them… The results were unfortunately not HQ.( not as I expected) I wish I had given them samples before in order to see their work prior to giving all my albums.I ended up still paying them for the work that they had done.Don’t do the same mistake as i did!
