Vancouver Whale Watch
Great day out. Got the shuttle from Vancouver which made everything easier. Then got the smaller, speed boat which comes with a waterproof outfit, sitting at the front of the boat is very bumpy but is a fun way to zip around on the water. Tour operators are respectful of the whales. Engines off at 100m distance, and happy to do Q&As on the whales. Saw a young female humpback and some sea lions.

We had an amazing experience! We started the morning in downtown Vancouver and taking the shuttle service. We were greeted with a warm smile and joyful “Welcome aboard” by the shuttle driver, Levi. He was kind and welcoming. Levi educated us on the Vancouver area and the neighborhoods/streets that we drove through. Eventually, we ended at the docks in Richmond. We dressed warm (boots, gloves, hats, and lots of layers). We were able to see 3 whales, lots of sea lions, seals, a couple bald eagles, and snow geese!!We were able to get great views all around and our guide was knowledgeable about identifying the types of whales we saw as well as what their migration patterns were like. You could tell her enthusiasm and love for wildlife. She happily answered all our questions and had great stories to tell.We definitely recommend booking a tour with them!

It was a great experience. We saw 2 different whales - but only the fins and their tails on a long distance, and some sea lions - maybe others are more lucky

The staff were incredible- I did the shuttle option from downtown Vancouver and the tour guide gave some background on the demographics of Vancouver/Richmond. You don’t get very close to the whales but we were still able to see them pretty well (hard to get good pics of the whales but they seem closer in-person). I was impressed with the whale watching experience and the boat was more covered than I expected which was nice since it was so cold. I don’t usually feel sea sick on boats but it was pretty rough out there- they gave me a small ginger candy and that helped with a bit of the seasickness.

Great experience. We went all the way to Washington! Saw a pod of Orcas, a Humback whale , Sea Lions, and a few Bald Eagles. Trip was almost 5 hours. Highly recommend ✨

The Vancouver Whale Watch was hands down one of our favorite parts of our trip the PNW! Sebastian was our nature guide, he and our driver were fantastic. Great navigating and lots of fun on the small 12-person zodiac. And we were able to follow a pod of killer whales through the sound! We felt great about getting a fantastic view while also giving the animals their safe space. I’m so confident in this team and the incredible staff in the office who were so helpful and courteous. Could not recommend anything more, please feel good about spending a day on the water with this group!

Nice but not worth the money. We just saw a fin of a whale for around two minutes at a distance from more than 200 meters. The drive to the whale was nice though so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are on a budget or just for a few days in Vancouver.

Fantastic, would do it again! Not just we saw the Killer Whales, but the staff also told us a lot information about the families and species in general. You might also see sea lions and bald eagles.

Unfortunately no whales today but it's never a guarantee when it comes to wildlife. We saw stunning scenery, seals, sea lions and plenty of Bald Eagles. We were told that we can come back for free anytime as we didn't get to see any whales. The boat and crew were great. I'll be coming back for that free tour as soon as possible.
