Purchased a Visa gift card and when used it said invalid card number. So returned to Shoppers to talk with manager, Kathy. She grabbed the card and went to the back to call into the 1-800 number to verify the amount on it. Came back and looked at me as if I was drunk/stoned. She said the card was fine with $50 on it and told me she wrote the 16 digit number down for me since I must have read it wrong when I called the number to check on the card. She was very condescending to me as if I was wasting her time. She said if I still had issues, it was between me and Visa. I took the card, drove across the city to work and tried the card number on the Visa site only to have it say invalid card. I looked at the number she wrote down and called on and she called on the wrong card number; she had one digit wrong. So I went to the South end Shoppers, spoke with the manager who called Kathy to explain she had called on the wrong card number only to hang up the phone with the same bewildered look I had on my face (like she was hung up on). The South store manager spoke with the owner who instantly said to replace the card for me. Simple. 5 minutes and was on my way with new card. Too bad Kathy couldn't have cared enough to do the same.

Have used this pharmacy for a decade plus. My wife needs two dosage amounts of a pill to complete her prescribed dose. They can’t get them to refill at the same time the last 2 months. Seems pretty basic to me considering they had it right for the last several years

I'm really disappointed that they changed their business hours. 9am to 8pm. They are no longer convenient and I am thinking of switching my prescriptions to another location. Even Co-op has better hours. What happened to Shoppers being open before and after everything else? That's their main purpose. This was a terrible business decision.

I like this location. The staff is friendlier than the Normanview location. Although I don't know if anyone else hears it. I do have to say the self check out voice lady from far away while in the store sounds like. Please take your bags and get the hell out." I go to independent often or Co-op none of their self check outs sound like the lady at shoppers self check out."

Always look at the clearance and the sale! Usually they are on the expensive side but they have good clearances. The staff at this store was really friendly and helpful!The post office there is the worst, go to the second location for that.Big parking lot outside.

I absolutely love the beauty department staff. They are so helpful and nice!

Me and my friends entered to just browse around and immediately a security guard started following us and then got two other workers to follow us and finally a third one who I knew said “they knew we where stealing” when we didn’t even do anything but look at the makeup products finally when my friend was PAYING for her mascara at self check out before we where leaving the security guard approached us and asked if we where sure we got everything which made me feel so uncomfortable I started patting myself to show him I had nothing and so did my friends and she showed her receipt and we walked out. That was NOT an enjoyable experience especially since they where assuming we where stealing probably based of the way we apear which is not professional AT ALL.

The store seemed pleasant enough. You walk in and the first thing you see is a futuristic beauty aisle filled with lights and mirrors. The rest of the store is a clean and pretty typical Shoppers Drug Mart experience. There's a blood pressure tester that prints out the results for you; that's always fun.As you can expect, the prices aren't exactly competitive. In fact, the prices are quite high. It's odd, though. This store just doesn't belong here. I mean, it's in the same parking lot as another Loblaws store - one that actually offers low prices. I only came to this Shoppers since Superstore was sold out of bread. Why would anyone buy a pack of Five Alive for nearly $5 here when there are two stores nearby that sell the same product for only $3? There are too many grocery stores within too small of an area.

Pharmacy is always quick and friendly. The digital pharmacy app is very useful, and getting email and text notifications of prescriptions is awesome. I have been to a few Shoppers, and this pharmacy is easily the best!
