Just had mild curry chicken pie and it was delicious. Love buying meat at a local butcher with great service and quality product.

Great little meat shop located in a small farmer's market. It was definitely the highlight of the market for me. Top quality meats and fairly knowledgeable staff, even the butcher popped his head out from behind the shop to help answer a few questions. This was my first time there but I will definitely be back.

Absolutely awesome! I've had the chicken, the beef, the sausages, the meat pies. Everything is delicious from these guys.Update: I just tried their in-house burger patties this weekend and they are phenomenal... I love this place!

I find Stuart Carroll comparable to the best at St. Lawrence Mkt. Call ahead and they will ensure that special cut will be waiting for you. Knowledgeable, friendly staff and wide variety of products, from thick cut smoked bacon, peameal and fresh sausages to prime rib roast cut from the bone and trussed.

Always friendly service and top quality cuts of meat. My go to for holidays and special occasions.

I am new to this store. Very good meats. Fresh sausage. Juicy chicken. Well cut steaks. I like everything I have tried so far. Nice staff.

Been coming here for over 10+ years now and have recommended a lot of friends who love the place just as much. Family run business and still see a lot of the same familiar and friendly faces all these years. Take pride in their meat and they always travel out to where their meat comes from and can speak to it (see their IG). The beef here is consistently high quality and is highly competitive in price with even your local grocery store/superstores, but with a much higher quality. Their beef and chicken is my go to for my daily family dinners! Has recently expanded into seafood. Don't overlook the meat pies in the freezer that are fantastic! If you don't see something there, make sure to ask, as they can always source something for you. Also nice, that they are happy to make specific cuts or try and meet your requests. If you haven't been up to the York farmers market before, encourage you to give it a try, they have a lot of small proprietors that produce really high quality product!

One of the best butchers in the city and a go to every season to stock up on quality meats. Seasoned meats are second to none. The sauces are really nice. Quality all around.
