Malefycia

Not scary at all, but more disgusting with some gore. I would have loved more scary, things popping out of nowhere etc… but the actors did very well, kept to their act and remained professional even with drunk losers trying to touch them. I liked the dj and the music that was playing while waiting in line.

The props, layout and the decorations are very cool. This was my first time going but probably won’t be going back as it’s not so much scary but rather gross. We didn’t opt for the red bandanna which is really over the top and gross in my option. If you get grossed out quickly I do not recommend going as there are rooms that have horrible smells and some what disturbing visuals.Make sure if you go there you don’t plan to go for dinner after or go out as as you are 100% getting dirty, I also don’t recommend wearing proper clothes or shoes.

Worst venue I’ve ever been to and disppointing experience…Waited 2 hours in line outside, then entered the building only to be met with another lineup and waited another 30 mins just to get the tokens… then we thought there would be no more lineups, only to wait ANOTHER 30 mins for each “zone”.Entirely disorganized and very unkept facilities… restrooms were disgusting (and not in a good way)The experiences themselves weren’t even scary. Zone 1 basically had us crawling through a dirty and smelly set of tunnels with no jumpscares at all. The whole thing was over in 5 mins (after over 3 hours of wait time).Zone 2 was a bit better. But one of the staff members actually spit on us (!!). Completely unacceptable especially in the COVID era. All in all, it was a lackluster experienceTLDR: spent $150 to wait 3 hours in line for only 10 minutes of actual experience, which wasn’t even scary. Not worth it at all!

Women be aware, you will get targeted. They do not warn you that the actors will 100% touch you, all the reviews are accurate on here. Wear clothes to get dirty in and get prepared to be grossed out and uncomfortable. Crazy experience would not do again!

The actors and staff were excellent and really put a lot of work in it. It was scary, spooky and fun, without ever making you feel unsafe! Expect to wait in lines but there’s no way around it, since it you have to go into the zones in small groups for the experience to be enjoyable.

Best experience ever. You must go to the 2022 edition. Thanks to the team and actors. Bar is always a great place to hang out at the end. I surely recommend it.

I am a Horror Fanatic! But this was mostly disgusting honestly.. shoving peoples faces in toilets and pouring liquids on their heads and then rubbing it on their face? Like what? Not worth it. You’re basically paying to debase yourself…this was NOT a pleasant experience - Also, not horror!! If they weren’t doing those things, it would’ve been more fun.

EDIT:Opening night had issues, BUT we were extremely happy to be able to return and take part in the true Malefycia experience. Much better organization, and the scenarios were grotesque in the most wonderful way!! Thank you Malefycia for another exciting year! Can't wait for the next one!!I have been to every malefycia and this year was just disappointing and very tame in comparison to years prior. Normally we leave filthy and absolutely thrilled, but this year was not that. We felt misled in terms of how the tokens would be used and how many rooms there would be. We purchased the largest package thinking the coins would buy us more participation in the rooms (similar to the red bandana previously used to identify participants wanting a more 'hands on' experience). The whole token thing was a waste of time (and money). For nearly $140 we waited for hours and hours in a completely disorganized environment (I'm sure being there on opening night they were working out some kinks, but it was ridiculously long)...The rooms had so much potential. I love malefycia and I don't doubt a lot of hard work was put into the whole process, but this year was a bust. I will be back next year because I'm hoping for better and I love the unique concept.

I got my head shoved into a toilet bowl, and I *assume* it was a prop, but regardless; I ended up violently sick for the next days. It may or may not have been related.A lot of issues probably stem from management and disorganization: the company had a 2-3 years breaks due to Covid, and only a few months to set up the 2022 events after restrictions were lifted.
