Nice car but the service is terrible. They do not honor the warranty and instead they find a million excuses why it is not their fault. Management at the service department is not professional. When you leave Volvo you have the feeling they provided you poor service at a very high price. Maybe that’s the reason there are no many Volvo’s on the streets. I will never purchase another one!

I reached out to Volvo Customer Service for help with my 2012 XC60. I bought the car second hand and out of warranty after a full mechanical inspection. Just a few months in I get hit with a air compressor fail and find out this is the 2nd time it's happened! Now I've got premature drive bearing wear and rust. On a 2012! I fully appreciate the risk of buying second hand, but I've never had a manufacturer so ambivalent to a defective product. To make matters worse, my car has been off the road for 7 weeks because they are out of stock in North America on the part I need. Customer service says talk to your dealer". The dealer says "there is nothing I can do to expedite the part". Volvo was always a brand I aspired to own. Not anymore."

Head office. This is the car company to watch over the next five years. Great products. No one will be killed or injured in a new Volvo in 2020 and beyond. Ask your car company for a guarantee like that see What they say!!! Great team Alex keep up the good work.

V60 Cross Country Purchase and Service from Lakeridge Volvo Ajax.Recent Service from Lakeridge Volvo was perfect. No one is happy when a problem occurs on their new vehicle but for me it turned out to be a great experience!Service Mgr Bruce W. was quick to respond and rectify my issue. Brought me in on short notice and had Marcus diagnose and rectify.A dealership team with the knowledge, skills and service.What more can one ask for........Thanks

I had side runner panels installed on my Volvo XC90 by the dealership “Volvo West Island”. Immediately within the first 3 months they were covered in rust.I returned to the dealer and they said that they would buff it out and that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately just a couple of months after that, they rusted again. The dealer opted to try and buff it again rather than replace them and again a couple of months later they rusted.Now they are saying that they are not under warranty when in fact they should have replaced them immediately when we first complained.These were not cheap at $2000 and should not have rusted after just a couple of months.We are very disappointed in both the dealership and in Volvo Canada for providing a substandard product and not standing behind what they sell.

I wish I could rate this lower than a one star. The dealership i dealt with was Uptown Volvo in Montreal. I bought a 2017 XC60 and took over a lease on an X60 within a couple weeks. I live in Ontario and the work I had to go through to get my cars plated was unacceptable. I was not given the proper paperwork to get the lease in my name, the navigation was not setup when it should be and they said opps sorry you will have to bring it to Montreal or go to a dealership in your city. I had not brackets to put plates in the front of the vehicle. I paid the lease transfer fees and was told that the dealership would compensate me for the troubles I went though once the transaction was completed. This process took a few weeks and hours of my time. Once it was completed Ralph the finance manager said that he spoke to the manager and they didn't feel that I should get any compensation. I asked to speak to the manager, I left him a message and he never called me back. I contacted Volvo Canada and they said that this is an issue with the individual dealer and that they would not get involved. They even tried to call him and tell him to contact me but he still has not called me back. I bought my cars in October 2017. I could go on with other issues I have had but honestly don't want to waist another minute. However, i feel that everyone should know that they should be very careful when dealing with this dealership. Also note that Volvo Canada can not or will not help you if you have issues at the dealership level. They have great cars/SUVs but are willing to let dealerships ruin their reputation.

I always thought Volvo was a luxury brand, but I have learned through experience it is not. Lack of service, quality, and commitment is evident everywhere. Volvo is a one and done for me.
