Goodwill Calgary Impact Centre and Outlet Store

Absolutely awful experience! I had a cashier STOP RINGING UP A CUSTOMER to chase after me and my son and tell me there's an age restriction. Weird how there was kids all over the place. Upon pointing this out, she went to tell her supervisor (while the customer waited to finish having her items rung up). The supervisor, clearly out of breath from running up to me like it's an emergency, repeated what the cashier was yelling at me. I repeated what I told the cashier to him, and he said I'm gonna get the manager". Dude. What? My docile kid looking for a toy to take to the river isn't worth this kind of effort.On my way out

The lady on the till is the rudest ever! Cant you see? The kid is not allowed here" and we were like "sorry?" And she was like "cant you read whats on the wall?" SMH! Dont really want to put out bad words specially for this kind of organization but man

So glad Calgary now has the bins! Found great deals. Understandably no kids under 12 allowed. Pretty typical bin experience (morning seemed the best time to go to beat most of the crowd). Would be awesome if they did a late night during the week once a month or something

This place doesn't allow children under 12. Which is fine, however the staff that work at this location are also absolutely the rudest people we've ever encountered. The associate didn't even speak to us to make us aware of this. She just banged on the window aggressively and pointed to a sign in which my mother was already reading, then forcefully shoved us out. I'm all for respecting rules but I'm not for workers being aggressive to enforce your rules. Will not be supporting any of your locations ever again.UPDATE: I filed a complaint about this employee and their business. I have yet to receive a response and that was more than 3 weeks ago. I think this speaks volumes of their commitment to customer service and proper business practices but I'll let everyone come up with their own conclusion.

If I could give 0 star review, I will. The rudest worker (cashier) I’ve encountered here in Canada. When we entered the store, the cashier screamed at us ‘Can’t you read on the door?’ We’re shocked and we’re like ‘what?’. We didn’t see their notice on a paper taped on the door that kids under 12 are not allowed. Who would see that if you post it on the other door, like it’s not really visible when you enter. Instead of explaining us politely that kids are not allowed, instead she shouted at us like she’s about to stab us for entering with our son in the stroller. We would understand right away by just telling us properly. Not because she works there, it doesn’t mean she has the right to scream at us. Most of the customers inside the store looked at us. She’s Filipina and I’m Filipina as well, it doesn’t give her a right to treat us that way just because she’s older than us. As working parents (me and my husband) only have time on the weekends and my son doesn’t have childcare on the weekends as well, this is the only time we could go out. I’m very disappointed, if I could just tag this review personally to her, I will. She’s making a bad reputation of the store and to her co-workers. Maybe we will visit again soon if she’s off.

I have visited the newly opened Goodwill outlet store and deals were amazing; infact they were too amazing. I feel that it attracts the resellers quite a bit. I saw many same people few times who buy loads of stuff, which I am sure is not for personal use. This results in good stuff going away very quickly and only unwanted stuff is left out. I think you guys should limit number of articles per transaction/person (say 10-15). Otherwise people who need this stuff the most will not find anything useful left when they visit the outlet.

Kids are not allowed, poor quality rags and the leftovers are dumped on tables. This place is rated as F! Customers service, if you can call that a service, is non existent. Rude people and goodwill my foot. Non inclusive at all.

Me and my family enjoy coming to this location a lot!What would normally cost 200-300$ at normal locations we end up paying as little as 20-40$My only suggestion is to mix the variety of bins up more. We love shopping for clothes, movies toys etc and sometimes all of the bins out are just clothes. Either way this location is a must see.

Is this location always restricted to those ages 12+? I came with my younger child in a stroller earlier this week and was refused entry to the store. If the store is always 12+ perhaps this info could be available online so people don’t waste time/gas driving out only to not be allowed inside. Thanks.

Had a good time went on Sunday and found a vintage 1994 rolling stones shirt. Had to stay all day but so happy i found this grail. The staff and the other shoppers are chill. But watch out for the young vintage group they are aggressive and all wear carhartt.
