Geos Language Plus

My teacher is very nice but school is very bad.The building is very old and sometimes in front of the door school homeless high on drugs block the way in and out. We’ve to went to studied somewhere else instead.Even,the last day of my school … I didn’t get any certificate yet… I have to waiting for school to send me on the email ( still waiting…no one can answer when…I have to ask for certificate…Really ????)My teacher, she is really trying to help me but she can’t know everything in School right.Poor system!!!That’s a nuisance! I thought this school could do better.Such a waste my time and my money to be here.I also hate my agency too that sent me here.I have to do almost everything by myself.Bad experience ever!!!!!!!

The best language courses with lots of FUN activities

I am disappointed. Came here with the expectation to learn new topic based vocabulary which I can use for eaxample in my future workplace or just to make my speech more interesting. Also I hoped to improve my grammar.There were only 3 levels (other language schools in Vancouver have way more, also advanced classes you can choose from!) and I was already in the class with the highest one.The books being used for the lessons were terribly boring with content which doesn't fit in the actual time like handcrafts or in general content which is totally useless for your daily life. Vocabulary coming with these topics did I already learn in 6th grade in school as well as the grammar. Except some things, the lessons were filled with repetitions. Only in the third block, the IELTS class, I learned actually something new, improved my English skills and the teacher for that was very ambitious and fun. Beside of that, the teacher I had in the first lesson was very nice but she was always talking very slowly and with many repetitions so it was just too easy for me. The teacher in the second lesson (they changed alot, we had often different teachers, but here I'm talking about the latest) brought always here child to school and her voice was too low and she seemed in some way childish and unsure what she's doing, so it was hard to take her serious. Most of her lessons weren't prepared well enough, more improvised and as I said before, the content of the book we used was super boring...To conclude, if you are NOT a beginner, do yourself a favor and choose another language school!! As an advanced learner you will only learn a little little bit new in this school so it's not worth the money.With all that said, I hope Geos will improve by the time and fix their problems.The people I met there were awesome.
