The Glencoe Club

I play Tennis & Work Out there...The Club has most Racquet Sports plus Bowling, Curling, Swimming, food & beverage etc...The management & Board do not listen and do whatever they want. Pricing it out of most peoples ability to join.

Great facility but they can't accommodate the members they already have, and certainly not new members. Don't add your family to the wait list, we did and I regret it. Its been 10+ years and we still can't exercise at the fitness club we are fully paid members of?? The kids are second tier members and we can never get into classes.

This is one heck of a private club!! It has a bowling alley, squash courts, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, ice rink, fine dining, pub dining, tennis courts... the food was exceptional and too. If you’re a member of this club I can see why! Very glad that the Union Club of British Columbia is a reciprocal member here- had a fantastic time entertaining Calgary locals here. Great work Glencoe!

Great private club with curling facilities. Staff is very friendly and the amenities are well kept. Lots of parking available.

Excellent members only club associated to multiple others in all major cities across Canada.

Perfect place for an athlete, with all the different sports available. As well as a great place to socialize with friends, playing sports or enjoying the many different café/restaurants at the club

Usually I have a great time at The Glencoe Club, mainly thanks to the amazing building and employees. However, today myself and some dear friends were left disappointed with our visit. Almost all the lifeguards were a pleasure like usual, other than one. He ruined the experience for us and many others with no warning. I’m all for strict rules at the pool to keep us all safe, but punishing multiple groups for the mistakes of one is over the top. This lifeguard proceeded to remove us all and treated us horribly, almost like we were not human. Thankfully one of us were able to get a photo of this lifeguard. This lifeguard is an embarrassment to the entire Glencoe Franchise and should be reprimanded for his actions.

My son and I just last week had supper at the Argyle restaurant at the Glencoe club. Service was as outstanding as always. However my review is about the extremely delicious lobster we had. I am from the Maritimes and have eaten my share of lobster but the cooks at the Argyle cooked it to perfection. It was a large one also, full of sweet meat. If you like lobster you don’t want to miss out on this!

Came here for a tourney, looks like a great place, nice courts, nice washrooms.

I was here for work, and it had been years since my last visit. I was in the outdoor pool area cleaning cushions and wow! They changed it a lot! The staff were incredibly nice and laid back, any setbacks we had, they were fine with.From what I remember, staff inside the building in the cafeteria, for example, were so sweet. They always made sure we were having fun and we were well fed. Great environment to be in, especially as a kid so many years ago. I'd assume since it's still so popular, that the service hasn't changed one bit since then. They hire the best of the best!
