After spending time trying to locate a special order part" that would take weeks to get with suppliers in Edmonton

Total dive. Tell clients they will take a quick look at your motor and 2 days later still haven't heard a word. Then they play dumb about it. Come in and ask why i was told we would take a quick look and its now been 2 days" and was given attitude stating we "have nothing to do with service" lol.. If you have nothing to do with effin service then dont be giving timelines out. Don't take on work if you can't handle it. Very smug attitude with this company and fake

I have to agree with Kathy on this one. I needed some expert knowledge with wiring an electric gear motor with limit micro switches and a forward/reverse switch. I worked with Kevin and Doug and they were extremely professional and courteous. Doug prepared the wiring diagram for me and it was very clear and easy to read. The price was very fair and reasonable. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in need of electrical repair / service / parts.

I had a special motor that wasn't getting power and I asked James Electric to take a look. They took a look and within hours of me dropping it off called in a quote to rewind the electrical field that had a short. I approved it and my project was completed in 6 days. One week after I dropped it off I was in the shop watching them test in in my application. The staff ensured that it was working and I was ready to roll. In these times the staff were masked and sanitized and we had appropriate space during the testing. The crew was friendly and interested. In my opinion they went above and beyond to help me out. I couldn't be happier with the service.

I walked in off the street and from Amy to Chris to Jeff, I was very well looked after. The people I met at James Electric imparted a certain passion and enthusiasm for their expertise that I was myself interested and captivated by this experience.Thank you for taking such great care of me everyone. We had an irrigation pump that wasn't working, and James took it apart and cleaned it out and replaced worn parts. I enjoyed having it hoisted into the back of my truck and it's back out and working perfectly again. Thanks, Chris, and your team!

These guys may have a little better prices but it's not worth it! I bought a vfd from them and 18 months later it's failed. I'm looking for support on the issue because I'm not the electrician or the salesman. I offered to pay, I didn't want anything for free, but to quote Ron who I just spoke with: basically we sell these things and offer zero support for them." I would never deal here again and recommend caution!"

I recently dealt with the service folks at James Electic as they were the authorized warranty rep on a new motor I purchased, but was not happy with. Although I didn't purchase the motor from James Electric, the folks I recall dealing with in service (Amy, Stephanie, Chris) were great. They were fair and patient, and the replacement unit I ended up getting was much better than the original unit I got, and it is running much better.

Absolutely thrilled with the level of service received today. The gentlemen at the front desk were pleasant, professional, and found the blower fan I was looking for quite quickly. They even offered up some additional help if other components of my furnace weren't working as well. Overall great experience.

My furnace motor went kaput and I needed one bad as it was-16 today. Being a long weekend didn’t help. Everyone was closed Saturday so I was extremely grateful for the help from Derek. A very kind and considerate man. Helped me immensely. I had phoned Carrier since it was a Carrier furnace but they wanted twice as much. Definitely recommend James Electric. When I phoned I had talked to a girl in the back who gave me advice I needed and then transferred me to Derek at the order desk. These people are fabulous.
