Just had a great buying experience with Carling Motors. Late on a Sunday afternoon after car shopping all day we spotted what looked like a fantastic offer on their website. Sent a email and promptly received a response from Brandon Anderson, raced down, test drove, and were convinced it was the right car for us. Brandon expertly helped us through the buying cycles and efficiently managed our many requests. Within 24 hours we'd purchased the car we were looking for! Amazing support from Brandon and the Carling Motors team. Cheers!

What a great experiences. The sales representative Miles was very patient and very welcoming. He took a lot of time to explain to me about the car and trying to find the best deal that suits my need. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend this dealer for CPO Volvo as they pretty much give the best deal on the East Coast.

I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this dealership to carefully read the numerous other one-star reviews below. The service department at this dealership is incredibly disappointing. I purchased a brand new XC40 in August 2022, and unfortunately, I have been facing issues with it right from the moment I drove it off the lot.The wait times for even the most basic requests have been over a month, as many others have pointed out in their reviews. Additionally, it seems like every possible excuse is explored to avoid honouring their warranty. Currently, I am in my fourth month of waiting for a windshield replacement. The technicians at Carling Volvo initially stated that it should be covered under warranty, and a second opinion from Speedy Glass confirmed that it is likely a pressure/installation crack that should be covered as well. However, Volvo Canada is refusing to address the issue, and Carling Volvo has not been proactive in advocating for me. I have to constantly chase them down for even the most basic updates; they never reach out to me.In summary, it has been my unfortunate experience that Volvo Canada does not honour their warranty, and Carling Motors shows a lack of concern and willingness to support their customers.

It’s dealers like these that make me not want to own a Volvo anymore. Volvo service dept here has made every possible excuse to not replace my brakes under warranty with severe vibration issue since the car had only 6k on it! Went to another Volvo dealer, and the brakes were immediately fixed without issue under warranty. Now that the only other Volvo dealer in town has closed, I go to Montreal for service.Update in response to dealership: I think if this place genuinely cared, the service manager would’ve called me back, but never does. Instead of responding with complacency and an illusion of caring for customers, I’d suggest you do something about the problem and learn from other Volvo dealers to augment your customer orientation. Talk to Volvo owners, and you’ll hear the same sentiments about Carling Volvo - it ain’t the place to go.

I was shopping for an SUV for my wife and it came down to Audi and Volvo. I’ve had two Audi‘s in the span of my driving history and thought we would be getting a third. But after visiting carling Volvo there was numerous things that I could not ignore that just made sense by going with the Volvo. The first is the service. Nick was a great ambassador of the brand and had lots of insights as to why this car made sense for us. The warranty is incredible for a luxury vehicle. And the financing rates cannot be matched in this class of cars. The car itself is still new to us and I can’t speak to its performance but as a dealership they deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

I had a great experience buying my first Volvo. I went in with a list of preferences, and their sales team ensured I found a model that met my needs while adhering to my colour and interior preferences. I felt that the moment I walked in, they took me seriously and even offered me a coffee. After several experiences at other comparable brands, I felt most comfortable with this dealership, and it ultimately contributed to me buying my vehicle the same day I walked in. A month later, I couldn't be happier and feel I can reach out any time if I have a question or issue.I'd highly recommend Carling Volvo.

Interested in buying a Volvo from this dealership? Please read about our experience as it may help you. We had 2 Volvos in 2013 (XC60 and XC90) in Edmonton and were very happy with the quality of the SUVs as well as the customer service. In 2020, we traded our cars for brand new XC 60s. We were big fans of Volvo. Now, I would not recommend this to anyone. The service at Volvo Carling motors is so bad, you will be fooling yourself if you think your car will be serviced without significant headache. I am not someone who likes to write reviews but I am forced to do this as we have experienced multiple negative incidences. We wish to share our experience publically. I tried on several occasions to be patient, understanding, but there is no doubt that the quality of the Volvos has changed for the worse. My first XC60 was a 2011 model and I wish I could get it back for the one I have now. To make the SUV more economical, alot of parts appear cheap, fragile, and break easily. It is a smart car but it does not stand out as a Volvo in terms of rigidity.Worse, the Carling Volvo dealership is honestly the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. It is the quality of service that compelled me to post this review.Since there is only one Volvo dealership in Ottawa, prospective buyers should be prepared for a rocky relationship with the service department at best. If you are very patient, ok to wait for weeks and months before your car gets serviced, and you do not mind talking to over-stressed and understaffed reps, then this dealership if for you.Jan-2021: My wife slid because of ice and hit a 1 meter snow bank next to our home ( driving less than 30 km/hr). None of the airbags deployed. The automatic safe brakes did not activate before the collision. Our inquiry was put via email to Volvo and the SUV was repaired there, but no answer was provided. Two years later, my wife still goes to Chiropractor for back pain.Oct-2022: After successfully booking my SUV for maintenance, I was told my front brakes required “urgent replacement” by Dan, then was informed that they are not in stock. I had to wait for several weeks until they received them. When they finally received them, I called on Tuesday Nov 8, to book a service appointment and , Lisa answered and abruptly informed me that they are presently booking in January and the earliest she could offer me is January 4th as they were “busy installing winter tires”. She further stated that I was welcome to go elsewhere if I wanted. As a parent who drives his kids to school and brings them back home every day, I was told a month ago that it was dangerous to drive the SUV, but she offered no alternatives, no cancellation list that I could be put on. I had to go to the dealership myself and remind Dan that he said it was not safe to drive the car to be able to get new brakes installed. At Carling, you have to beg to get seen.Jan-3, 2023: I got a “transmission service required” signal. I drove to the dealership and I was told that they were short-staffed but that they will look into it if I leave the car for “couple of days”. They have no loaners to give out and when I asked if I can get a shuttle service to my clinic, Collin appeared very irritated as he was sending out the only guy who does car detailing with me. He later called to inform me that there is “significant corrosion” in the wiring leading to the transmission” and that “ this was due to moisture and salt from underneath the driver’s seat” , and finally stating that this was not covered by the extended warranty. He stated that the snow on the floor is the result of my soiled boots!. The estimate was for approx $1500.I have driven a Honda, a Nissan, and two Volvos and was never heard that a dealership of a reputable car brand would provide such an excuse. Not sure what to do as a driver: take off my boots before getting into the SUV to avoid corroding the wires? Shall I ask my family to do so as well??This is unfair especially with the amount we pay for what we perceive as a “premium brand”.

Unfortunate to have great car with bad service care.I brought my car on Monday for just a battery change, got it back on Friday with over $700 invoice !!!!Replying back to the showroom owner request as below:I called back the service department as requested with no answer and I left my contact information for calling back. Hope to hear back from any team members (which I doubt)!

I've bought a lot of cars over the years but shopping for a Volvo was the best experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, no predatory salespeople, zero pressure, but as soon as I made up my mind they moved into high gear to make it happen for me.Jason and Nicholas, you did all the hard work to make this happen for me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks as well to the used vehicle manager who gave me more than a fair price for my trade. This is my first Volvo but it won't be my last. Much of that is the car but it's also the dealership.

This is our first Volvo and the experience was awesome, they helped us through all the steps. we have a minor inconvenience though, however it was nothing that one more day couldn't fix.I would recommend Carling Motors of course.
