Nice on the surface with an attractive facility, service is adequate at best and cuisine barely mediocre. Every small service is additional and costly. Compassion and caring seem secondary to profit.

The staff and care were excellent. This is a three star review because of the hundreds of dollars in fees that were deducted from my parent's deposit after they pased away. If you want to destroy the goodwill of someone who just lost a parent, this is how you do it.

Beautiful building, well kept, very clean, friendly people, great variety of activities for resident to do, it a great place for retired people to live, check it out.

My parents love it .... I join them for the odd meal and I love the meals they are excellent very tasty ... Service is outstanding. Really nice place very conveniently located.

Our family searched for quite some time to find the right place for our grandmother. She has no complaints, and would definitely say something if there was something amiss!

Everything is disgusting frozen and pre made food with no work or love put in to it. Minimum effort and overpriced services.

The site where my mother resided was the Schonsee location however I have had to deal with head office as well. What a total nightmare. I would never recommend any of their establishments to anyone.There is no accountability. November 8th I made my 1st request for documentation on my mothers, behaviours, general discomforts, pain levels, sleeping and eating habits. I requested this documentation because after a 10 day isolation period and me not seeing her in person for almost 3 weeks she was not able to lift her neck from her chin, she looked like she lost 10lbs, and was in a lot of pain. I have since made multiple requests and have not received any information.Well at the hospital she was given a weekend pass. I brought her there on a Saturday she was so happy and relaxed to be back at her home. The staff told me she was not allowed there. They even sent me an official letter banning her from the site even under my care. However they still expected rent.From August 31st - December 20th the staff left 20L toxic waste pails in her room. They never followed any of the waste disposal policy’s. The pails were not even properly sealed.I also found a single pill on her floor. I can only imagine what would have happened if my toddler found it 1st.I completed a move out inspection with a staff member from the site. The entire sheet was marked in excellent condition. The staff then sent it to head office, where they took off charges from the damage deposit for painting, cleaning and disinfecting, carpets. Head office had never stepped foot into the room.After sending multiple emails, outlining everything I have no received an email from their lawyer threatening me with defamation because of my reviews.

I moved my mom into the dementia unit and she was so upset. Two days later and she was living it! Wonderful nurses, and the rooms were incredibly clean and well kept. My heart is so happy when I come through the doors and see the staff exercising and playing games with all the residents.
