Foods are generally good. Service is so-so.I ordered a few dishes, some are good (beef internal delicacies, pork holt) some are superb (Deep-Fried Crispy Milk Pudding)Some are so-so and some are not good (shrimp dumpling and wonton).I ordered XO source fried turnip Pattie’s but it appears they gave me the Singaporean style fried turnip Pattie’s.My receipt was also XO source. If they didn’t make a mistake, then the two were so resemblance which is wrong.

Oh my. It pains me to have to write this but after being a happy customer for many years, Keung's has finally fallen from grace. My family and I visit Keung's on a regular basis mainly for their delicious pork bone and mustard leaf soup. I can say this dish in particular has mostly kept its quality over the years but it too had degraded just slightly recently, but that alone wasnt enough to deter us from coming back. The soup was still good despite not being as peppery as it once was.On our most recent visit, we learned it was the other dishes and the service that has really taken a turn for the worst. The place was not as busy as it once was, and somehow it just felt depressing in there. None of the staff looked like they were happy to be working. I'm not sure if there was a change in ownership but judging by the look on their faces, it seems like everyone just took a serious pay cut. So sad.Pictured is what was once one of our favorite dishes, fried garlic pork ribs. Normally, these ribs are crispy on the outside, but moist and tender on the inside, with just a bit of sweet and salty garlicy goodness.I rarely ever return food to the kitchen but these ribs really should have gone back, cuz I felt like they were trying to poison us with this one. There was a strange sauce on top of the ribs, and it was hardened like a candy glaze. One bite and I experienced a rush of salt and sugar the likes of which I have never felt. I became light headed and wanted to vomit moments later. My partner told me after dinner that she experienced a mild panic attack but after sharing with her my own light headedness story, we realised we were riding a salt and sugar high. Not at all the fun kind to high, mind you.The shrimp dish also pictured was just ok. And the pork belly dish was underwhelming, I can do much better myself at home. After over 7 years of enjoying Keung's, sadly we will not be returning. Gg.

Lots of food Cantonese food options to choose from. You can order soup noodles/vermicelli/macaroni. I liked their baked rice dishes as their fried rice base is quite tasty. There is the typical fried noodle, fried rice, rice plate dishes.l Their sesame sauce and sweet sauce with plain rice noodle is pretty good. Many patrons order their pork bone soup as you get a big portion of vegetable and soup along with pork bone. Overall, this restaurant's premise is reasonable prices with large serving portions.

The food is great! Big portions and good price. Service is good, although, their English is not the best. There is always people in there but you would always get a seat. Big restaurant with high ceilings.

Aesthetics aside, Keung’s food is decent and well priced. The fish and preserved egg congee ($7.95) was an unique combination containing an ample portion of fish filet and chunks of preserved egg. The congee (a savoury rice porridge) was thick and flavourful arriving piping hot with a sprinkling of green onion for freshness. The Singapore vermicelli ($12.95) was also well prepared - the thin noodles well tosses so every inch covered with the curry and salt seasoning. The shrimp and barbeque pork were left in larger chunks, so the ingredients were less dispersed amongst the noodles, pick and choose as you fill your bowl to make sure you get a taste of everything.Keung’s beef and vegetable fried rice noodles ($12.95) contained plenty of sauce dousing the noodles in a rich gravy. There was also sufficient beef but could use more gai lan (Chinese broccoli) to add colour and crispiness to balance off the rich dish. While their service isn’t overly warm, Keung’s staff is least efficient with the food runner speed walking each dish to the table, so it arrives hot and fresh from the kitchen. Also like a diner, you’ll be in and out in no time, although the restaurant isn’t overly busy, so you’re welcomed to sit and enjoy another cup of weak tea. Or you can indulge in a bressert (breakfast dessert) with a glass of grassy jelly or red bean ice drink.

First time visiting, we ordered bitter melon pork rib rice (涼瓜排骨飯) and shrimp paste fried rice (蝦醬炒飯). The fried rice was pretty good, but the pork rib rice was very bland. There's two things I needed to deduct stars:1. I HATE how they exploiting random celebs for advertising. The paper liners on the table have Beckham's photo printed on it. It's a selfie of a fan standing next to Beckham. Apparently Beckham was attending an event and this fan just happened to be there, that's all. It absolutely has nothing to do with Keung Kee. This advertising is ignorant, tasteless and disrespectful.2. The music was too loud in the restaurant. It's difficult to chat with friends.I'm pretty sure I will not visit again due to their tasteless food and advertising. There's many other choices in the area to choose from.

Keung Kee is a staple in the Chinese Restaurant world. Always fresh and hot foods with generous portion sizesTheir menu is massive to say the least, consisting of two booklets of choices. You gotta try their affordable afternoon tea menu as well!Their signature congee is delicious (don't forget to sprinkle some white pepper for taste and order a side of fried dough fritter for that perfect pairing) and also try my favourite dish, the Minced Chicken and Salted Fish Fried Rice! The restaurant itself is big enough that you shouldn't need to wait too long, or at all, to get seated. They're usually pretty busy which is a slight detriment to the service levels... If you ask for something and you don't see it happening, just raise your hand and flag down a different server to get it done!Warning, the place blasts air conditioning so either avoid the booths (which are just under all the vents) or sit in the center area. I was so cold i had to go get my jacket when it was 26-28c outside.
