Ongle Spa Mimi

Mimi is amazing, I've been going to her for over a year. I had broken a nail once and she fixed it without cutting it. Great color sélection, you will always leave happy.

Mimi do nails nice. However she is rude and come off as a colorist. I went to her nail salon 2 times today is my third time and she was very rude. She treated the white women better than she treat me the black woman. I’d say I go back but I cannot accept such bad experience and treatment. I rather continue going to Kim on Monk. At least Kim is nice and she don’t care if you’re black , white, Asian, blue, yellow green. She treat everyone the same and with respect. Sorry Mimi you’ve lost a customer that would’ve been loyal to you. You do nails really nice but you’re not a nice person. You’re only nice to white people and not black people. I’ll take myself and my money to another nail salon that doesn’t have a racist as the owner. Oh and I will tell other black ppl not to go to your salon. You will not treat them nice since they aren’t WHITE. You had your chance to apologize for your rude behavior when you told me to “ move” and when you were rushing me but you didn’t. The guy nail technician apologized for you. If it was for him, I would come back but since it’s your nail salon my black behind WILL NOT BE BACK Kim is better anyways! She was just book so that’s why I came to you. I’ll continue going to Kim by monk metro. Next time treat ppl nicer and stop mistreating them due to their RACE!

The guy doing the pedicure damaged my to toe nails. He was fully sanding them down and till now (months after) it’s still not better. My nails were not in bad condition it was more to get a rid of calas under my foot. He was very aggressive with the sander.Also the wait time was pretty bad. Pretty much 30-40 mins wait since there is only one person (the guy) doing the nails.

Mimi is very nice and she's talented. However she did not ask what I wanted this last time and simply started cutting my nails off as she thought I wanted tips. I did not want tips. She did apologize but it's quite a big mistake. She also didn't cut them nicer even though it looked choppy. It was quite disappointing.

I liked coming to see Mimi because she does good work and works pretty fast (1h max for refill) However the 3 last times I went were bad experiences. She cut me during 2 appointments and didn’t really apologize. Then I was going to give her another try so I call to make an appointment with her and when I arrive she has a man do my nails , who took soooooo long and the nails were soooo bad :(Unfortunately will not be going back

I would never go back because she over charges unreasonable prices. She cares about money more than business. Absolutely disappointed. Make sure you know the prices of your services because she will take advantage and overcharge.

I’ve been to this nail salon a few times now - the first time I had a good experience with a shellac manicure until it came time to pay. I asked to pay with a debit card, but was told the “machine was broken” and since I didn’t have cash, they told me to go to the Desjardins ATM across the street, which charged me an extra $4 withdrawal feeI gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back, only to have the same thing happen at payment time. I even asked if they’re cash only and was told that no, the machine was just “broken” again.I’ve never seen it working in fact. I would prefer if they were honest than to blatantly lie about their practices and have customers pay extra ATM fees. In addition, the second and third time I came, all the manicure stations were very dirty - with nail dust everywhere.After giving them multiple chances, I won’t be coming back here again. I’ll find another place that is more honest and clean. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because the shellac itself was good quality and lasted long.

I’ve gotten my nails done by Mimi on multiple occasions. I have nothing but positive words towards her service. She has been very kind and helpful every time. She is also super patient and provides great advice when it comes to choosing nail colour & style. Additionally, the hot stone massage that comes with the pedicure is such a unique experience!!
