Supreme Self Storage

I been a customer here since July 2018 and have no problems at all with this business. I like when I go into the office to pay or ask a question. It is swarmed with the nicest plants and the owners have a pet or two in the office with them... Feels comfy and even walking out the door from the office are more nice plants. A green thumb for sure the owners are. I am able to walk up to my storage unit or use an elevator. It is a well run business from my experience and have only good things to say. I lost my two keys to my unit in the early days of using the facility and was so nervous and worried. I back tracked and spent hours looking where i was in the time i lost them. Silly me had the keys together when I should of had them in separate key rings. I went in to the office and let the owners know of my situation and there was no issue making me a different key lock and given a key again. This is one great experience I have from this storage business in Chase River. I find it hard to walk by Rona as when i lived in Chase River I was there lots and really enjoyed all the different shopping stores in this area. I can't wait to go to my storage unit actually as that means i get to go to some of the stores there and i make a day of going out to Chase River as I live in Nanaimo city centre for now. I really enjoy my days when I go to my storage unit. Supreme Self Storage seems like a big place too as there are units in a two story building i believe it is. Outside units adjacent to each others. and possibly parking stalls for vehicles, boats or RVs. I never looked around the whole place so this is what I am guessing there is in the back of the storage yard. Well run and totally clean place is Supreme Self Storage

Really clean well kept facility. I was impressed with the maintence and care that has gone into this storage facility compared to other facilities I have stored things at. Not too mention they have great customer service that will work with you. I would definitely recommend it if you need a place to store your things.

A complete joke to move around in here in a vehicle. I had my new one ton truck in there today to get stuff from our locker and had no room to turn around. We went down to the end where there is construction to turn around. There were no workers present and we were crawling. We got a very rude reminder" email telling us that we should've turned around sooner where a large moving truck was parked. I guess they know how to drive my truck better than me because we were told in this "reminder" email that we had enough room to turn around even though there wasn't. Save your money and go else where because these people obviously do not care about long term renters."

Good facility with very high security.

Well-cleaned and organized storage facility. Staff was great at responding to inquiries and was accommodating when we needed to downgrade to a smaller storage unit.

I give no stars to the new owners. (unfortunately you have to click on a star to post a review) I am in a dispute right now over my damage deposit that they are unwilling to return at this time. I was given a pallet to use from the previous owners and left it leaning against the back wall of the unit after I had removed all of my belongings and swept the floor making sure it was spotless. Now Mat is saying I left lots of debris behind, wants me to remove the pallet, and is not willing to return the deposit. The grounds have video cameras, so I have asked him to review the feed for the day that I swept the unit and returned the keys. Although the camera in the location of my locker will not show the inside, it will show that I indeed swept it. He advised me he took pictures of the locker, which I had unfortunately forgot to do, which will show that the unit was clean. I'd advise anyone looking into this storage centre to review all recent posts. The previous owners were fantastic. These new ones, not so much. They have raised the rents on the lockers by substantial amounts within months of buying the business, and by reading previous posts on this Rate and Review site, are not looking out for their clients. Shame. I also recommend previous renters having issues with the new owners to voice their complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Nanaimo.

We have used this storage facility twice now. Each time, we have been greeted with friendly faces, warm responses and professionalism. They're a husband and wife team with an adorable Pitbull that all have beautiful souls. It's reasonably priced and different sizes of units to choose from. A very accommodating storage unit that will do its best to meet your needs. Highly recommend them.

I wouldn’t even give this company one star.These people have no idea how to run their own business. I wouldn’t recommend anyone use their facility. I wouldn’t even store a peanut with these unprofessional people.

The manager Matt is a joke! I moved to Edmonton and came back for my things. Unfortunately the ferries were delayed and this in return delayed me getting to the supreme storage during business hours. I was able to get my things before 9 and left on the first ferry in the morning. I called and spoke to Matt saying that I would courier the key and card back to them then next day. He said that they would not except them and that they will charge me for them not being returned in person. No where in the contract does it say that this needs to happen and this moron thinks that people have all the time and money in the world to come back and return it. I have asked to talk with his boss, I’ll be lucky to have him call me to have this sorted based on the attitude of this employee. In the end it’s not about the money it’s about this guys attitude and the way he conducts himself. Good luck if you need to deal with him
