It felt like we had family shooting our wedding - they fit in that well!We brought Geoff and Josh (2nd shooter) from Vancouver out to Philadelphia to document our wedding, and with the exception of marrying my wife, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!Unobtrusive, knew how to move people for photos, how to move around everyone, had plenty of tips for us leading up to - and during - our wedding day, shot photos that we didn't even notice them making until we got the album, and generally were a fantastic pair! Geoff was always quick with communication beforehand, during the weekend, and afterwards. He went out of his way to answer any questions we had, calm any nerves as we got ready, and hit a home run with the albums!As a photographer, I knew I'd be incredibly picky about who shot our wedding. I didn't have a second thought once we started working with Tell Weddings. They knew the style we wanted, how to shoot it, and then they took it even further! You won't be let down having Geoff cover your wedding.

Geoff captured the playful sentiment of our day and was so good to my 90 year old grandma. He was professional, helpful, creative, and has an incredible eye. From formal to authentic- he captured it all and created the perfect memory book for the best day of our life!

We wanted a photographer that captured moments instead of staging them. Geoff did a wonderful job capturing the moments from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. He also sent back our photos really quickly. We received our engagement photos within 2 weeks and wedding photos within 4 weeks. It was a pleasure working with Geoff!

Geoff was amazing and extremely easy work with. We did an engagement shoot as well as our wedding day with Geoff. He worked around our time for the engagement shoot (we were finishing our last year of University and extremely busy). Neither of us feel very comfortable in front of a camera but Geoff managed to make both shoots fun and comfortable. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, and Geoff and co were friendly, unobtrusive, and helpful. He sent us our album to our new home in Germany, no fuss. The photos are amazing, the album is amazing and will be treasured forever.

We feel so lucky to have had Geoff as our wedding photographer. My husband and I don't love having our photo taken, so we were feeling a bit awkward. Geoff made us laugh and ensured it was super easy for us. He was super flexible and fun to be around. It was easy for us to discuss our expectations with him. He was great at respecting our desires, while offering his years of experience and expertise. We are so over the moon happy with our photos - they are beautiful and capture our day perfectly. We only did about 15 minutes of wedding photos, as we were keen to get to our guests. Knowing we had asked for that, we didn't have high expectations of our group shots - but they were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. I don't know any other photographer who could pull off what he did, in such a short frame of time. Geoff truly went above and beyond - I'm sure we will be hiring him again for events in the future and I would encourage you to do the same!

We are so happy with our experience having Geoff as our wedding photographer. He made himself available in person and on the phone leading up to our event. He offered great ideas for locations, and important moments to capture. On the day of our wedding, he brought calm, positive energy and was excellent at helping to keep us on time without making it stressful. He sent us a few photos the night of our wedding, and had our full album posted for us in less than three weeks. Our photo album is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed and the quality is fantastic. Geoff captured so many amazing moments, and his photos tell the story of our day.

Months after our wedding I was still telling myself: Best decision we ever made.Choosing Geoff as our wedding photographer was a no brainer. Highly recommended by friends and having a stunning and diverse wedding portfolio, we were all too happy to include him in our day. We had full confidence in him. But what Geoff did for us was beyond what we could have hoped for.Our wedding being very small (13 people in total including Geoff!) everybody was a little bummed that some random guy would be interfering with what was an intimate family affair, making things awkward and uncomfortable. Far from it! Geoff felt like a part of the family. When he wasn’t unobtrusively snapping photos, he was mixing and mingling and everybody enjoyed his company immensely. It made the day just that more easy and special.He put in a lot of foot work for us too and toured Salt Spring Island finding some epic places for photos. Group shots were quick and painless (but turned out perfectly!) and bombing around the island with Geoff was a lot of fun for us, capturing some of the loveliest couples’ photos. A wedding expert, he was of great help with miscellaneous blips that arose and didn’t hesitate to step in as a helping hand.We were floored when Geoff sent as a beautiful slideshow, something we weren’t expecting that still makes my mom cry every time she watches it. Our photos arrived so quickly after! And what beautiful and stunning photos they were! Capturing the day perfectly, his eye for detail and shot framing is impeccable.He was also very accommodating, fitting us in for a casual engagement photo session on a quick trip to Vancouver to ease us in to photo taking! Something he didn’t have to do but was greatly greatly appreciated!I wouldn’t hesitate to have Geoff photograph our wedding again! And only wish we could hire him to attend all our family gatherings!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We booked Geoff after seeing his photographs from a friend's wedding and it was a brilliant decision! He captured our wedding day perfectly - the emotions of every moment of the day can be felt through his photos. Because Geoff's background is in more journalistic photography he has a real art in telling the story of a wedding day. Our photos don't look schmoozy or posed, instead he's just captured us being genuinely ourselves throughout the day. We told Geoff that we didn't want loads of posed photos, but that it was important to get the essential portraits. He managed to efficiently get us through that portion of the day within about 10 mins which was amazing, and we got back to our party! Our couples portraits, similarly, look super natural and he made us feel really at ease in front of the camera. The best part about Geoff was that we never even felt like there was a photographer there. During the intimate moments like the ceremony, he was never obtrusive or in the way, and during the dancing and partying, it felt like he was just part of the crowd having fun with our friends. And, of course, the photos are incredible - looking through them was like reliving every special moment of the day as well as getting to see all the things that happened whilst we were looking the other way. Geoff sent us a sneak preview the night of our wedding (!!), a slideshow of the highlights within 2.5 weeks, and the full collection in 3 weeks - far exceeding the 6 weeks we were expecting (which is still amazing compared to a lot of the industry!). We honestly cannot recommend Geoff highly enough.

Geoff was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day and the days leading up to our wedding. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also finds a way to integrate into the wedding events in such a beautiful way that he felt like just one of the guests (for example, bopping along to the music while taking photos on the dance floor). We were beyond pleased with Geoff's work and would happily recommend him to anyone.

So professional and fun! I absolutely love our wedding photos and am constantly getting compliments on them! I'm super picky when it comes to photos because I am a photographer, but when I saw Geoff's work I knew I would be super happy with the results. The guests LOVED the Photo Booth service and as the bride I LOVED not having to worry about making favours ;) I would rate higher than 5 stars if I was allowed to.
