Horseshoe Slough Trail
Very peaceful place that my son used to walk with Montessori kindergarten classmates. Still clean, still comfy and still full of memories.Love this train especially walking with my boy.

Horseshoe Slough Trail
It's a very good place to walk, run or bike. It has a very good view to the Fraser River, but the road beside the river is very busy with cars and this could be a little dangerous.

Horseshoe Slough Trail
Lovely walk or cycle path in green belt in Richmond. Safe, clean and saw quite a bit of wild life. Just need a pit stop or two along route.

Off the main trail on the west side, there's a single person maze of a path in through the woods. Be careful as there are wild berry bushes with thorns throughout but there are clearings all along the path to let others pass by or to rest and have a friendly greet with passer by. Lol

Quite trail, good place for dogs. It's short distance and crossed the railway twice.

Horseshoe Slough Trail
Beware of dog poop in the trail. The trail runs along the industrial area of Richmond. There are several slow moving creeks near the trail that flows into the Fraser River. The water looks polluted! When the leaves have fallen in late Autumn / Winter you can see there's a tarp in the wooded area near the trail. Not sure if someone lives there or has been there for quite awhile and nobody removes it. The trail is good for walks during the day.

Horseshoe Slough Trail
Great off leash dog trail with good shade for those hot summer days. Too many dog owners more recently not picking up after their dogs. Also transients in RV's have been filling their water tanks at the water fountain and dumping garbage in the trash barrels at the trail head until they overflow.

Only two trails are at this location. One permanently closed for maintenance. Vegetation is still not grown back from winter, not signs of budding. I see no crowd in a Thursday.
