Woodstock Kitten Nursery & Rescue

We have two adorable brothers who were cared for by the Woodstock Kitten Nursery. It is clear how much they care, and have provided excellent care/nurturing. I love how they care enough to follow up and answer questions after the cats come home. I also love how they are aware of bonded kittens/cats and try to prioritize placing them together in adoptions. They were really responsive to messages and questions, and I just highly recommend them for donations or as a place to find your fur baby!!

I am shocked that there would ever be a bad review for this wonderful rescue or the people who volunteer there. I have had a number of interactions with the folks there and it is evident they are committed completely to these little souls. The world needs more people like them. Thumbs up for all you do, WKN, you are all wonderful! ❤️

The kittens and cats that are born there or rescued are given the best care that I've seen. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the kittens arrive very sick and are lovingly nursed back to health by this amazing team of volunteers run by Cathy. We adopted a kitten and was given a full package explaining what to expect, how to care for the kitten, and tips and tricks. Our kitten also came with his medical records, first shots, microchipped and a voucher to have him neutered. The nursery is very clean, well stocked and is like walking into a vets office with all its equipment. I was very impressed with the seperate rooms for quarantine, birthing, etc. I highly recommend anyone looking to adopt a kitten or cat to come to Woodstock Kitten Nursery and Rescue.

I am surprised that a caring, volunteer rescue like Woodstock Kitten Nursery and Rescue would ever get a negative review. Perhaps the complaint of how the only negative reviewer was talked to was about how he talked to them and refusing to pay the fee - how can you take care of a kitten if you can't pay the small fee (that doesn't even cover the care, food and vet bills) for your fur-ever friend? Being mean to wonderful volunteers who do such kind and incredible work is unspeakable. Everyone should donate to this program that reads this review - the most beautiful sound in the world is a purring kitty. I promise you, you will feel so good about doing such a simple thing.

We got our kitten from the Woodstock Kitten Nursery and he fit in perfectly with our family. Kathy was extremely helpful with every question we had and gave us lots of information to make sure our kitty settled in as well as possible. They clearly care about the wellbeing of the cats that come to them and their happiness in their new homes!

Only called on the phone but my experience with the lady was great, kind and very friendly. She wasn't pushy but was there if I needed her!

This place is such a great place to get a kitty. I got my Bobtail there. I stay in contact and if I miss to long checking in. Cathy reaches out to me. Checking up. Making sure Bobtail is well. Always there if I have questions. Best foster place a kitty could ask for.

Such a shame that this rescue is disorganized and leadership is ill equipped to deal with the struggles of a rescue. Organizers turn away good help for asking questions and negative attitudes". Please support Oxford County Animal Rescue or other certified organizations instead."

I have referred many people to Woodstock Kitten Rescue. I have seen with my own eyes what happens immediately upon them receiving a family of orphaned kittens. I picked up and delivered 5 kittens whose mom had been killed by a coyote. The care and love that is evident from Cathy and her volunteers is exceptional. After the care received the day of, these babes are taken to the vet, they receive all their shots, are chipped, receive all necessary meds for whatever issues they might have, fleas, worms ... so many other things as needed that cost a lot of money. But those babes are adopted into screened families coming from having been loved and cared for by Cathy and the volunteers and the foster families like their very own. I can't because I am somewhat allergic but I recommend Woodstock Kitten Nursery & Rescue as the place to call when you want to adopt."
