SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear

I have used my Skye Tent Adventurer 3 significantly for about 6 months now. The aluminum shell makes it fairly light weight, yet very robust from the outside. Anyone that knows me knows I wheel my Jeep hard and through tight trails. This tent has taken its fair share of abuse, but it is taking it like a champ and I still have a very comfortable and dry place to sleep every night, that sets up down in a matter of seconds. I can even leave all my sleeping bags and pillows inside and still close it. This is a huge plus for me over some other tents I have had in the past. Low profile in design, this doesn’t look too bulky on the roof and it reduces drag as much as a tent on your roof can. It even lets you store additional bags or solar panels on its roof, negating the issue of losing all your roof rack space, to some extent. Overall, high quality tent, robust, comfortable, fairly priced and highly recommend!

The BaseCamp4 is a stunning RTT. It was completely assembled (including the rack rails and ladder) and popped open with the rainfly attached, and with only six 6 rainfly rods and 4 buckles it was completely set-up. The sleeping area in the tent is the same as a king size bed so there's plenty of room for two of us plus the dog and gear. The tent quality is amazing including the rack mounting hardware, which came with its own ratchet wrench! A class act. The only negative we have, was there was no instructions included for set-up (didn't need them but it would be nice) and RTT maintenance, but we can probably find it on line.
