New Westminster Dental Group

I always had a difficult time with dentists but It’s a completely different experience with Dr Jeffrey Lam. He is amazing at making people feel comfortable, he does not try to sell you unnecessary procedures. His staff is genuinely helpful, caring and nice. Best dentist I’ve ever had !

I've had some procedures done by Dr. Lam now, and I am very pleased with his work. I can tell that he is doing this because he genuinely cares about helping people. He fixed some bad root canals I had done by another dentist, and he was much smoother. Unlike the previous work I had done, there was very little soreness after my appointment with Dr. Lam. He and his staff have very comforting chairside manner, and Tracy at the front desk was very accomodating to my scheduling needs. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Lam and his staff.

Dr Lam’s hands make the cleaning experience as smooth as butter. I don’t know how he does it. Friendly and consistently great- that’s why we travel over 40min to see him every time.

I've been going to Dr. Jeff Lam for a few years now and would highly recommend him. He's very personable and really gets to know each of his patients. Everyone in my family now goes to him. He's amazing with our kids and takes the time to educate them on good dental habits. I was impressed with the way he handled my challenging dental issues with a lot of skill and I could see that he takes a lot of pride in his work. The hygienists and reception staff are also super friendly and take the time to get to know you as well. Their office is now in a new location and all their equipment is updated. Overall, dentist appointments are a really pleasant experience at New West Dental Group.

I've been seeing Dr. Jeffrey Lam and his team for a few years now, since I moved to BC, and have had nothing but positive experiences. From the get-go, his reception staff are SUPER friendly, both on the phone and in person while you wait. Dr. Jeffrey Lam is amazing to deal with. He understands patients needs and seems very genuine and caring about your health and well-being. He's not judgmental or pushy, but does an excellent job of explaining things so you understand.My sister goes to him as well and she has a pretty intense anxiety disorder and Dr. Lam is so wonderful and patient and kind with her that she no longer fears going to the dentist as she has for basically her entire life until him.I've recently started seeing the hygienist during my cleaning visits and she's wonderful as well. Super friendly, and always remembers the little things that we talked about previously (if I had talked about an upcoming vacation on my last visit, or something about my personal life, etc.) she remembers and asks me about it the next time I see her.They're very accommodating to emergency situations as well, and Dr. Lam or his staff will gladly talk to you over the phone about any issues you're having and has even just phoned in a new or refill prescription to a pharmacy for me to avoid me having to pay him for an emergency visit if its not necessary. Being without dental insurance, I really appreciate how he does whatever he can to keep my costs to a minimum while still providing excellent care.Bottom line (and sorry for the lengthy review but honestly I could fill a book with all the great things about this team) I highly recommend this Dental Group. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would ;)

The environment at New Westminster Dental Group is not only comforting but very welcoming as well. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a warm hearted smile. Michelle was such a lovely dental hygienist and both her and Dr. Jeffrey Lam really took care of all my dental needs. I would absolutely recommend New Westminster Dental Group to anyone looking for both a wonderful experience and outstanding customer service. Thank you Dr. Lam! :)

Dr. Lam and his staff have been a joy to work with! He has worked hard to help resolve my unique dental concerns. Hes taken great care in explaining the processes and my next steps through my journey. Our family has been going here for years and I can say I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist!!!!!

Dr. Jeffrey Lam and his team at New West Dental Group are all incredibly professional, caring and friendly. Dr. J Lam is the perfect dentist to help maintain a healthy smile! I have never been to another dentist that was more comfortable than New West Dental Group. I highly recommend them! Call the very amazing Tracie at the front desk and ask for a cleaning from Michelle! She is amazing and will make your smile sparkle even more!

Dr. Lam is a kind and dedicated professional who is incredibly knowledgeable and excellent in his craft. He often goes above and beyond in helping me maintain my oral health, anywhere from after hours emergencies to ad hoc dental advice. His team is equally amazing, and always makes me feel safe and welcomed. I'd highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for a great dentist.
