A couple of recent purchases left me with some large pieces of Styrofoam I wanted to take to 'the dump' to recycle them instead of putting at the curb in garbage day where it goes to landfill.I dropped off maybe 4 to 5 pounds of it and nothing else. To my dismay they asked me to pay $10 for using their recycling vs leaving it on the curb for free and saving a few bucks of gas on top if it.I was pretty disappointed having to pay for doing what's right.That said I use the dump a few times a year and my experience is always good.

Great staff, service, clear signage and properly segregated junk bins for various types of junk. Also very cheap. only 10 dollars to dump some garbage.They take unused paint also.Great facility.

We have a residential property and I absolutely love segregation of waste in the right bins. But several times the garbage collecting trucks just dump more waste in our yard. While I don’t complain on most days, and understand that their job is tough. But then they missed collecting our recycling + kitchen waste. They did they same to two other neighbours as well. The customer service in the morning was nice and helped us build a case for pickup. Then we received a call back (from the same number) explaining that they are reviewing gps + camera footage and our bins weren’t out on time so we were left hanging in the heat of 30 degrees whether leave our kitchen waste our or get it back in the garage. So I call back the same number I had received a call from in the evening to get an update and she just goes on a rant about how they don’t know what waste management does on their end, and that they only take calls. She wasn’t even listening to what I had to say. She was not at all helpful, and was super rude!

Had an issue with a driver of a yard waste vehicle being rude to my husband and leaving without taking our waste bags. Called to place a service request immediately and they said that it would be 24-48 hours until they were picked up. Called the next morning to speak to someone at the landfill and the man on the phone had us on speaker so you could barely hear him, said that there was no one to talk to about picking up our bags but that they likely wouldn't take them all. We needed to bring them ourselves to the dump and pay for it. Then he hung up the phone on us.

Today I went and picked up some free compost (approx 8:30 am on Saturday). I was really impressed. As a first time visitor, the signage was really easy to follow and the areas to fill bins are well spaced out and clean. I'm happy that this service is available to me. Thank you!

Best managed dump site. I have been to dumps across Ontario and this is by far the most diversified .prices have risen in some cases yet if you plan a load the pricing works well for different categories.

I don’t understand other people’s low reviews.Our collection service - especially the recycling crew - are so hardworking and friendly. I actually get excited when I hear them coming down the road, they always pick up anything that accidentally falls and stack bins nicely. Also, kudos to the garbage crew - I don’t know how you lift heavy garbage all day! Thanks for your hard work.Going to the Waterloo Region dump is great too! It’s very well organized and easy to use. I like how they have a Goodwill drop off and Restore drop off near the front. All of the staff are very helpful and kind.

The staff at the landfill are amazing. Today I dumped something into the bin that I wanted and I was helped get it out of the bin . Also the drivers that pick up our weekly blue box and green bin are great neatly stacking blue boxes and green bin . Anyone who leaves less than a 5 star review should spend a day in a real job not some bs desk job

Someone was parking nearby my driveway and it blocked the collector's sight and the garbage was not able to be collected. I filled out the online form(miss collection) 30 mins ago and someone came to collect all the garbage. Thanks for your work!!!

I had a water softener that was kept outside near the curb. It wasn’t picked up initially but a gentleman named Laird from regional waste did an exceptional job of due diligence, finding the cause, helping me get rid of water softener. I very much appreciate the help received by him.
