Cliffshore Excavating & Paving

I had a bad experience with Clifshore excavating company this winter. I had contracted with them for snow removal services for the past two years, but this year they did a poor job. Even though it barely snowed during the season, they only partially cleared the parking lot and blocked several cars with a pile of snow, making it impossible for them to get out of the parking lot.When I complained and asked them to come back and clean the parking lot properly, the owner, Barry, called me and used offensive language. He was very unprofessional and seemed to take issue with my complaint. Despite only contacting them twice during the entire winter season, they sent me an immediate cancellation of the contract without giving me any preparation time in the middle of the season.I was very disappointed with the poor quality of work and unprofessional behavior of Clifshore excavating. I cannot recommend doing any business with this company. In the future, I suggest that they improve their communication, provide better quality of work, and adopt more customer-friendly policies.

We called Cliffshore on Christmas Day fully expecting to get their voicemail and leave a message about getting our driveway plowed out in the next few days. Barry answered himself and said he'd come by Christmas afternoon to assess and figure out when he could get someone over to help us out. Two hours later, Barry showed up personally and plowed the driveway out - on Christmas Day! We cannot thank him enough for the great service!

I was stuck, in a foot snow which had turned to ice Dec 2022, with no one around to help, I took a chance and called Cliffshore. They were busy too, but the owner Barry showed up within the hour. Kiddos to Cliffshore, without a contract or any obligations to me came out to help.

Driveway was completed on time on Friday, Aug.5/20. I called Cliffshore Mon. Aug.8/20 to say that I was not happy with the job. Driveway looks like it has been patched. Owner said he would come to look at the driveway. Barry finally came October 9/20, said “nothing is wrong with the driveway, we are over thinking, it is just a driveway”. When you pay for a job to be done, you expect it to be done right. I guess hiring local does not always pay off.

We had Cliffshore come out September 9, 2020 for a quote they left it in our mailbox with a detailed drawing I called three other companies and got much higher prices pushy salesman call Cliffshore back he honoured his “did extra work like removing concrete that was not in the original quote call the day before to say we’re coming out on a holiday to pave no problem did a great job very respectful cleaned up highly recommended

We use Cliffshore to ship material from our factory to our customers. Barry and his team are always on time and are great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Barry came by quickly upon seeking a quote, and gave us a fair price on his work. The team showed up on time, we're extremely polite and quick working. Highly recommend Barry's team at Cliffshore!

I can not say for the whole company, but one truck was so careless and danger on the road, which makes me think of this company as unsafe. I was crossing the railway crossing in a safe manner, but the driver did not like it! he honked like a crazy, did not keep his distance, from the back of my car, following to close on the ramp, was aggressive.Truck number 172.

I've used Cliffshore for years from paving to excavating services. Just had Kile over to make a pro level mx track. Upfront and honest no issues.

Kyle and Barry are great ! Very kind and take the time to plan projects out properly.
