Shallow Bay Beach
What a pleasant surprise here! The water is so shallow, good for swimming though still some see weeds.The water temperature is the most surprising part: cold for sure considering how north this beach is, but once you dive in, some people like me won't feel too cold. Really enjoy some good swimming, away from all the hard hiking in this national park.

Shallow Bay Beach
Shallow Bay Beach has long shoreline and it was once considered as Old Mail road. Hiking trail of 3.2 mile loop starts at Shallow bay. This beach was beautiful and there were lot of colourful stones and few sea shells, sea/beach glasses as well. There were Washroom facilities including changing rooms. Shower was there but it was out doors.

This place is beautiful. We visited on a beautiful sunny day. The water was warm and calm. It is a perfect place to bring the family for a day out! There is a camping site close by as well.

Not what one thinks of when you think of the Newfoundland shoreline. Four kilometres of beautiful sand beach!

What a beautiful clean beach! Lovely white sand stretches around the cove and the water was comfortable enough to swim in. Although I only had time to safe. It's worth a stop. They are renovating the building on site but one bathroom is open.

Lovely sandy beach with very clear waters that are somewhat sheltered from the open ocean. Picturesque walk along tiny dunes that are covered with wild flowers and grasses.

Shallow Bay Beach
Amazing beach with really nice sand and can wade a long distance (hence the name). Perfect for kids. We were there late August and hardly anyone on the beach. Saw one of the best sunsets ever.

100% worth the visit!- Crystal clear water, fantastic for swimming on a sunny day- Clean beach sand- Park and shaded area- Easily accessible parking lot and short walkway to the beach- Great educational information for learning about the area and its importance*Please respect the environment and the wildlife*
