The Calm Dog Studio

Awesome staff! They were so friendly, patient and so good with my dog. I tried to cut the nails of my dog. What took me almost an hour just to do her hind legs, took them about 10+- to do all 4 legs! They lavished my dog with lots of treats too! Highly recommended!

The service at calm dog studio was awesome for my dog Charlie. Kaila is so positive and had no hesitation at working with a 110 lb Berner. Charlie has a history of being anxious and aggressive but they were willing to work with him and brought him along beautifully. I am so grateful to have found them.

My dog has done nail trimming conditioning with Kelsey and Kaila, and it’s been life changing. He’s a two year old gentle giant, but had gotten increasingly scared of nail trims and having his paws touched. I’d tried scratch pads, dremels, various kinds of trimmers, another groomer, tranquilizers, and positive reinforcement and nothing was working. Trimming his nails was a traumatic experience for us both. I felt like a failure and was not giving him the care he needed, and letting his nails get overgrown. Kelsey and Kaila were amazing. They were affectionate, loving and respectful to my dog, and made us both feel safe. He loves going to see them. The changes in him have been unreal. The trust they built with him carried over and I’ve gained his trust back. He is happily letting me touch his paws, and comes to me wagging his tail wanting paw balm put on. I can’t even express how grateful I am, and I wish everyone had access to groomers like these two people. The studio space is impeccably clean and it’s clear that their work is a labour of love. Absolute gems!!

Took my staffy x pit bull puppy with slight anxiety to getting his nails trimmed to the ladies at Calm Dog and to say I am happy and impressed is an understatement! They made me and him feel calm and reassured. I wish I could give them more than five stars and we look forward to our continued positive experiences!

Best groomer in town. Quaint shop behind a house, very cute. The services they provide here are top tier in the realm of quality and fear free grooming. My puppy has been going since he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it there. They can deal with all behavioural issues and really take their time to ensure your dog is comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

My pup and I love Kelsey and Kaila at The Calm Dog Studio! They are so confident with my 110 lb excitable, sometimes anxious pup and are able to cut his nails and manage his size during grooming with ease. Kelsey empowered us to take better care of his sensitive skin by suggesting the right brush. The calm dog studio is informed on training techniques and tools and are so supportive of our training journey. They maintain behavior expectations with leadership and love throughout their process and make everyone feel like the best version of themselves. Hands down recommend to any dog owners but especially for furry friends with reactivity, anxiety or special needs.

I am SO happy and impressed with The Calm Dog Studio! I have an Australian Shepherd, Lola, who is dog-reactive and was very fearful after her initial grooming experience with other groomers. After bringing Lola to The Calm Dog Studio, she now races to get inside the studio, as she is so excited to play with her groomers!! This is a huge difference from our other experience where she was shaking and terrified to go inside to our previous groomers. I am so incredibly grateful for the fun, kind, and patient environment that they have created for anxious dogs and the level of care that they provide in their service at the Calm Dog Studio. They have a forever client with our Lola and I would highly recommend them to anyone! They also make your pup look extremely cute each time and often have pictures or videos to show their behavioural progress. Thank you again to everyone at the Calm Dog Studio, we appreciate you! :)

Riley is a 2 year old cockapoo you stresses easy. After being at other groomers I can say that he is much more relaxed and his cut is perfect. Great staff and fair pricing. Highly recommend

Beyond appreciative of the wonderful care my dog recieves at Calm Dog Studio, the staff are so kind and patient with my very large, nervous pup. You can really tell they love whay they do- would absolutely recommend!!
