CIBC Branch with ATM

Worst bank ever. If I could put 0 stars I would for cibc. They have consistently lied and stole money from me because of their lies. They take no accountability for their lies. I have been told things that aren't followed through on, I have been told things that have resulted in them not following through and making me lose money. I really appreciate that cibc can take your life and screw it up by not being up front with things. Can't wait to close all my accounts with cibc and go to a different bank because anyone seems better better cibc.

I went to open a checking account. It was my first time, and I had a lot of questions.The person in the entry, who I suppose was the security guard, opened the door for me and was really kind.Then I asked for information about a student account and they explained to me what I needed to know (I wish they had been more specific though) and even printed out a guide so that I could see my options more clearly.After that they helped me book an appointment for that same day, which was perfect for me and gave me just enough time to bring the papers I needed to open the account.Finally, Dhairya Thakar helped me open and set up the accout. The service wasn't rushed; he explained everything to me and answered all my questions patiently.I really appreciated their hospitality and totally felt like a valued customer. Thanks for your great service CIBC!

Thid branch has the worse sevice everThey do not answer your call and never return your call. I booked an appointment two weeks early and i get there no appointmenToday i get there door 3:59 pm to get urgent certified check refused to help meI am closing all my accounts with theI had this account since i moved to Canada 1996

They kept recommending me to use their website/app but those never work well for me. Please make things more accessible to people, especially those without cellphones, 2FA, etc.

I feel as though this bank doesn't know up from down. I came in made some account changes, a couple days later I came in and the account changes weren't done properly. I had issues with card fraud where I called the fraud line they told me to go to the branch.... went to the branch and they said I had to do it over the phone. Staff have been pleasant enough, but what's the point when everything is a struggle.

How could a bank rank this low. People invest millions if not billions and still bad service. Keep ur money at home . Better cheaper safer

I went 2 times to apply for a business visa, first time they put me with a new lady agent which’s not familiar what she can do and she applied for me under my personal liability not the business, Second time i called the business number and I applied for the business liability visa and approved me, they booked me to go sign the contract, once i come here they assigned me also with another lady agent she doesn’t know anything or even why i have appointment today with her and even she can’t find the contact on the system, Very frustrating and disappointing, Really pathetic

Went to deposit a cheque. I’ve Been a customer of cibc for years my father works at a different branch with Cibc. The teller at this location precedes to ask me if I’ve been in a car accident and is that what this cheque is for. Awful service they need training on how to be personable and provide better customer service.

The odds of them answering the phone are slim to none. You have to order money in advance… that’s fine. Well answer the phone please.

Worst communication. After pulling my credit report, they said I owed" CIBC money. I've never set foot in a CIBC to do any banking. Someone committed fraud and used my name and information to open a bank account
