The food was great. The server was there just often enough to ensure that we weren't left looking for her, but not so often that it was a bit intrusive. The food came out quickly and we never felt rushed. Great breakfast spot downtown.

Nutella crepes were mid, chocolate on top was bitter, but surprisingly coffee was good. However service was fast and nice, in general it’s a nice place with a friendly atmosphere.

First time eating breakfast here. Ambiance is good. I noticed that mostly local people have breakfast and/ or brunch. Good for family, friends or business lunch meetings. Waiting time for food was fair, attentive and cheerful staff. Love the coffee refills. Food plating has definitely room for improvement. Serving size is fair to good. Food is okay and will definitely fill you up. Enjoyed the pancakes and waffle dessert. Tricky parking, I parked a couple of blocks and walked to the place. Recommended if you are wanting something new and tired of other breakfast places.

Delicious! Great selection! Great company! We went out for brunch for my friends birthday and they sang to her which was lovely. Good food, central good vibe and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend.

Love Phil’s, and have been going to various locations for 30+ years. Can’t beat the price point and service - very classic diner vibe. Their coffee is THE BEST. Strong, smooth, and they give you your own carafe. When I was a kid the warm apple pancakes was my regular order, now it’s always eggs with beef chubbies. (The superior chubbie) My only complaint is the decor has lost its character. Hopefully on their next update this location will get some consideration and love.

Good service. We took the traveller's special (13,95$) with an extra egg (+2,50$) Buckwheat pancakes are good. With pancakes, they serve an assortment of warm table syrup, strawberry drizzle (tastes like melted lollipop - to us, it was terrible), blueberry drizzle (tastes okay). A nice no frills diner with fair pricing and great staff. The buckwheat pancakes were great and would return again. Fruit compote was very good!The decor is very dated, which is odd, because it’s a new place.
