MaxSold Downsizing and Estate Sales

I was a bit nervous to pick up some items I won in my first ever online auction. I didn't know what to expect but I envisioned a chaotic, disorganized, overwhelming mess, as there were over 500 lots of items. Upon arriving, the MaxSold reps were super friendly and helpful, and all my fears of a crazy free-for-all were alleviated. They were very organized, walked us in and showed us exactly where our items were located, and even helped us carry some items out, which is above and beyond what they are there to do. I'm excited to bid again!

Sellers provide poor photographs, unclear or incorrect descriptions of their products. Sometimes items missing, damaged, or lots include things that weren't mentioned or photographed (?). Really hit and miss and lately I just find it's not worth it. I'm sure they're going to post a response to this review, so I'll add that their customer service is pretty non existent, look up other site reviews and you'll find a lot of very valid complaints from both sellers and buyers.

I have been a Maxsold buyer for almost a year. I can honestly say that the staff is so helpful and kind! The pictures of auction items are true and honest. The bidding process is easy and fun. I would recommend them over and over.

One star only because I have to otherwise I can’t post, otherwise I’d not give them one.I found Maxsold very deceitful. I had purchased several jewellery items at different times and what they were showing online was child size items and not saying so. Rings, necklaces, and bracelets. People be very Leary of this con outfit.

First time with max sold and some of the 1 star reviews on here are legit in my experience. One of the items I got is broken but didn't notice until I got home. The description said worn as to expected on a wood table so I wasn't worried about that, so when I picked it up and didn't even really look at it much because it was actually in great condition. Unfortunately when I got home noticed two of the legs are split down the middle. I have to assume it would have maybe been refunded had I noticed it at pick-up, but I was a bit rushed as it was a 7 minute pick-up window. So I suppose it's my own fault for not checking it over. They really need to look over there items more thoroughly for the description. I definitely would not have bid ad much as I did knowing that the legs have to be fixed

Pick-up times benefit only max sold. Why have pick up times mostly on work days before 6pm? Potential sales and quantity of bids are greatly affected for your sellers and an inconvinience for buyers! What if I buy multiple items in different pick up times? Arrange pick ups a bit later till 7 or 8 or earlier than noon! i realize to some degree its about traffic flow but I would rather wait a half hour to pick up than not be able to bid at all!

Signed up for an account & all of a sudden got a ton of spam with the same unique username as my maxsold login. Signing up does not give them the right to send us spam.
